2025 PVL On Tour
The 2025 Premier Volleyball League on Tour is the second tournament of the Premier Volleyball League's 2024–25 Premier Volleyball League season, 2024–25 season but is billed as a preseason tournament. It is the first time the "PVL on Tour" was held as its own tournament. Previously, it was used as a label to market games outside Metro Manila. The previous PVL on Tour was integrated within the 2024–25 All Filipino Conference calendar. PVL president Ricky Palou announced that the PVL will hold a pre-season tournament, supporting the national team's preparation for the upcoming tournaments including the Southeast Asian Games in Thailand. Some of the games will have a greater focus on venues outside Metro Manila. The preseason tournament was originally scheduled in July 2025 but was later moved to June 22, 2025. One Sports (TV Channel)
One Sports (stylized in all lowercase) is a Philippine free-to-air television network owned by Nation Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) and jointly operated by TV5 Network, Inc., both subsidiaries of MediaQuest Holdings, Inc. media arm of PLDT Beneficial Trust Fund. One Sports is currently carried through analog via DWNB UHF TV Channel 41 in Metro Manila and other relay and affiliate stations nationwide, and as a digital television subchannel in select areas of the country. It operates Mondays to Saturdays from 5:00 AM to 12:00 MN and Sundays from 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM, as well as on truncated hours during the Paschal Triduum or 24/7 during important sporting events, most notably, the 2024 Summer Olympics. Desiree Cheng
Desiree Wynea Tanlo Cheng (born September 28, 1996) is a Filipino volleyball athlete. She played with De La Salle University collegiate women's varsity volleyball team. Personal life Cheng is the youngest of three siblings which include Djanel Cheng, who is also a professional volleyball player. She completed her high school studies at Hope Christian High School and earned her AB Sports Studies degree from De La Salle University. Career Cheng won the UAAP Season 79 Finals MVP after DLSU Lady Spikers defeated the Ateneo Lady Eagles in the finals. Cheng won the ''Best server'' award in UAAP Season 80. Ettore Guidetti
Ettore Guidetti is an Italian volleyball coach who is the current head coach of the women's team Nxled Chameleons of the Premier Volleyball League. Career Guidetti has coached several teams from Italy, Romania, Poland, and Sweden. Guidetti started his career as an assistant coach of Spezzano of the Italian Serie A from 1999 to 2001. His first head coach role was with Polisportiva Solierese of Serie Ain 2001. He coached various teams in both Serie A and B after that. Sweden women's Guidetti became coach of the Sweden women's national team in 2019. He helped them qualify for the 2021 Women's European Volleyball Championship which is their first in 38 years. He guided Sweden to a fifth place finish in the tournament securing them an outright berth for the next edition in 2023. However Guidetti left at the end of 2021 after his contract was not renewed. The Nxled Chameleons (stylized as NXLED) is a professional women's volleyball team playing in the Premier Volleyball League of the Philippines. The team is owned by the Akari Lighting & Technology Corporation. Louie Romero
Louie Romero (born July 5, 2000) is a Filipino volleyball player. She is currently playing as a setter for the Farm Fresh Foxies in the Premier Volleyball League. Career Romero made her first game appearance with Adamson Lady Falcons in the 2019 PVL Collegiate Conference where her team won the title against UST. She was awarded ''Most Valuable Player (Finals)'' in that season. She made her first game appearance in the UAAP in 2020 where she became the Rookie-Captain of the Adamson Lady Falcons. Later on, the league was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, the UAAP came back after the league had been canceled for 2 years because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Strong Group Athletics is an organization which sponsors basketball and volleyball teams in the Philippines. The Strong Group was founded by Filipino businessman Frank Lao. The Farm Fresh Foxies is a women's professional volleyball team in the Philippines playing in the Premier Volleyball League. History The Farm Fresh Foxies joined the Premier Volleyball League in 2023. They make their debut in the 2023 Invitational Conference. Alyssa Valdez
Alyssa Caymo Valdez (; born June 29, 1993) is a Filipino volleyball player who currently plays for the Creamline Cool Smashers. She was a member of the collegiate varsity women's volleyball team of Ateneo de Manila University in both indoor and beach volleyball. She was most outstanding as an indoor volleyball player where she brought multiple championship titles and a lot of honor for the university. She is a current member of the Philippines national team. Sherwin Meneses
Sherwin Meneses (born July 20, 1982) is a Filipino volleyball coach. He is a ten-time champion in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL), seven times as the head coach of the Creamline Cool Smashers. He is also the head coach of the NU Lady Bulldogs, who captured their second straight title in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) in May 2025. He also coached the Adamson Lady Falcons in the UAAP and the Arellano Chiefs in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Career Meneses is a former player for the Adamson Falcons. The Creamline Cool Smashers are a Filipino professional women's volleyball team playing in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). The team is owned by food company Rebisco and named after its Creamline Creamy Ice Cream brand. They are the most successful team in the PVL, having won ten championships. Dawn Nicole Lirio Macandili-Catindig (born June 1, 1996) is a Filipino volleyball athlete. She is a member of the Philippines women's national volleyball team. She played in the UAAP for the De La Salle University Lady Spikers for 5 seasons (76-80), and is currently playing in the Premier Volleyball League for the Cignal HD Spikers.
