Farm Fresh Foxies
The Farm Fresh Foxies is a women's volleyball team in the Philippines playing in the Premier Volleyball League. History The Farm Fresh Foxies joined the Premier Volleyball League in 2023. They make their debut in the 2023 Invitational Conference. Jerry Yee is the team's first head coach and an initial roster largely composed of College of Saint Benilde players. They have committed to take part in the league for at least three years. Its owners meant to use the team's participation the PVL to promote the introduction of Farm Fresh's milk product in the Philippines. The team share ownership with the franchise of Converge FiberXers of the Philippine Basketball Association. Louie Romero
Louie Romero (born July 5, 2000) is a Filipino volleyball player. She is currently playing as a setter for the Farm Fresh Foxies in the Premier Volleyball League. Career Romero made her first game appearance with Adamson Lady Falcons in the 2019 PVL Collegiate Conference where her team won the title against UST. She was awarded ''Most Valuable Player (Finals)'' in that season. Volleyball Clubs Established In 2023
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. 2023 PVL Invitational Conference
The 2023 Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference was the fifteenth conference of the Premier Volleyball League and its six conference as a professional league. The tournament was originally scheduled to start on June 6, 2023, however, it was moved to June 27, 2023, due to the Philippines women's national volleyball team competing at the 2023 Asian Women's Volleyball Challenge Cup. This conference introduced three debuting teams in the league — Farm Fresh Foxies and Quezon City Gerflor Defenders as newly formed teams, and the return of Foton Tornadoes in the Filipino volleyball scene after the original team was rebranded as Chery Tiggo Crossovers in 2020. She was a member of the Baby Falcons of Adamson University which made its maiden UAAP Girls’ Volleyball championship appearance in 2019. Justine Dorog (born March 13, 1998) is a Filipina professional volleyball player. She currently plays for the Quezon City Gerflor Defenders volleyball team in the Premier Volleyball League. Personal life Dorog was born and raised in Cebu Province and attended high school as an athlete at Hope Christian High School in Manila together with her cousin, Isa Molde. She studied Bachelor of Sports Science at the University of the Philippines-Diliman and played for the school's volleyball team. Career Dorog was a member of the U17 Philippines national women's volleyball team in 2014, that finished 7th among 13 teams in the 2014 Asian Youth Girls Volleyball Championship.
