Nxled Chameleons
The Nxled Chameleons (stylized as NXLED) is a professional women's volleyball team playing in the Premier Volleyball League of the Philippines. The team is owned by the Akari Lighting & Technology Corporation. History The Nxled Chameleons was formed in 2023 as the second team of lighting firm Akari Lighting & Technology Corporation in the Premier Volleyball League; the first being the Akari Chargers. They were formed ahead the second All-Filipino Conference of the 2023 season. They appointed Takayuki Minowa, Jaja Santiago's husband as their inaugural head coach. May Luna
May Luna (born May 3, 1998) is a Filipino volleyball athlete. She played with the De La Salle University collegiate women's varsity volleyball in the Season 78 of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. She has also played in the Philippine Volleyball Federation National Inter-Collegiate Volleyball Tournament (InterCol), Philippine National Games, Philippine University Games, Palarong Pambansa and Shakey's G-League. Personal life May Luna, also known as "Mayang" was born in Tagum City, Philippines. She is the youngest of 7 siblings. Even before moving to Manila, Luna has already earned an amount of popularity back in her hometown Davao. She studies a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Studies (AB-SPM) at De La Salle University. Volleyball Clubs Established In 2023
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. The receiving team must not let the ball be grounded within their court. 2024 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference
The 2024 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference is the upcoming fifteenth conference of the Premier Volleyball League and its sixth conference as a professional league. The 2024 PVL season was supposedly to have two All-Filipino Conferences, the same as the 2023 PVL season The 2023 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) season was the sixth season of the Premier Volleyball League. The season started on February 4, 2023 with the beginning of the 2023 First All-Filipino Conference and ended on December 16, 2023 with the co ..., but this plan was later scrapped. This conference was supposed to begin on February 17, 2024; but was later moved to February 20, 2024. The season will start on February 20, 2024, with the beginning of the 2024 All-Filipino Conference and expected to end in the latter half of 2024, with the conclusion of the 2024 Reinforced Conference. Ivy Keith Lacsina
Ivy Keith Lacsina (born October 21, 1999) is a Filipino volleyball player. She played for the NU Lady Bulldogs in the UAAP. She is currently playing for the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers. Volleyball career UAAP Lacsina played for NU Lady Bulldogs in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. In 2021, Lacsina joined Rebisco Philippines in the 2021 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship. In 2022, Lacsina and her team NU Lady Bulldogs won in the UAAP Season 84 volleyball tournaments against De La Salle University in the UAAP Finals. The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is a women's professional volleyball league in the Philippines organized by Sports Vision Management Group, Inc. The league began in 2004 as the Shakey's V-League, a women's collegiate league. Since 2011, the league became open to participation of corporate clubs and other non-collegiate teams.
