2024 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference
The 2024 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference was the seventeenth conference of the Premier Volleyball League and its eighth conference as a professional league. The 2024 PVL season was supposed to have two All-Filipino Conferences, the same as the 2023 PVL season, but this plan was later scrapped. This conference was supposed to begin on February 17, 2024, but was later moved to February 20, 2024. A total of twelve teams competed in this tournament; two new club teams were announced before the start of the conference. Meanwhile, the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers and Quezon City Gerflor Defenders withdrew from the PVL. Strong Group Athletics took over the Gerflor Defenders franchise. Capital1 Solar Spikers was unveiled as the 12th team and replaced the Cargo Movers. One Sports (stylized in all lowercase) is a Philippine free-to-air television network owned by Nation Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) and jointly operated by TV5 Network, Inc., both subsidiaries of MediaQuest Holdings, Inc. media arm of PLDT Beneficial Trust Fund. Kungfu Reyes
Emilio "Kungfu" Reyes, Jr. (born May 2, 1981) is a Filipino volleyball coach and former player. Career In the UAAP, Reyes played for the UST Golden Spikers, who won the title in Seasons 61, 63, and 65 (1999, 2001, and 2003), and finished as runners-up in Seasons 62 and 64 (2000 and 2002). After college, Reyes returned as a player and team captain of the Philippine Army Troopers, who were debuting in the 2016 Reinforced Conference of the Spikers' Turf. Coaching career UST Reyes started his coaching career in 2004 as an assistant to coach Francis Vicente of the UST Junior Tigresses. He became head coach of the girls team in 2013, helping them win four juniors titles. In April 2015, Reyes became the head coach of the senior UST Golden Tigresses team, taking over from Odjie Mamon. Roger Gorayeb is a Filipino volleyball coach and former college player who is the head coach of the San Sebastian Lady Stags of NCAA Philippines and a team consultant for the Capital1 Solar Spikers of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). Gorayeb has been the head coach of San Sebastian since the 1980s and has helped lead San Sebastian to numerous volleyball titles. Career Gorayeb has served as head coach of the San Sebastian College women's volleyball team. Under Gorayeb's watch, San Sebastian grabbed 11 consecutive championships for the women's team from 1986 to 1997, 22 women's volleyball titles, 6 titles in women's beach volleyball and 11 in junior's volleyball.
