Offensive Guard (Ukraine)
The Offensive Guard () is an initiative undertaken by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (Ukraine), Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs to establish new assault brigades within the National Guard of Ukraine, National Guard, National Police of Ukraine, National Police, and State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Border Guards. The main objective of this project is to strengthen the country's security and defense capabilities by creating units capable of responding to various threats and challenges. History In February, the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs launched the Offensive Guard project, which aims to establish eight volunteer assault brigades by April 2023. Kharkiv Oblast
Kharkiv Oblast (, ), also referred to as Kharkivshchyna (), is an oblast (province) in eastern Ukraine. Zaporizhzhia Oblast (), commonly referred to as Zaporizhzhia (), is an oblast (region) in south-east Ukraine. Its administrative centre is the city of Zaporizhzhia. The 15th Operational Assignment Kara Dag Mountain, Kara Dag Brigade "Hero of Ukraine Lieutenant Bohdan Zavada" is a brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. Kalynivka (, ; ; ) is a city in Vinnytsia Oblast, Ukraine. Kalynivka served as the administrative center of the former Kalynivka Raion until 2020. The 13th Khartiia Brigade (, also spelled Khartia) is a combat brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine formed in 2022. Yuriivka (), formerly Yurivka (), is a village in eastern Ukraine, along the coast of the Sea of Azov. Administratively, the village is within Manhush settlement hromada, Mariupol Raion, in Donetsk Oblast. History During the German-Soviet War, the village came under occupation of German forces.
