María Torres Murcia
María Camila Torres Murcia (born 10 November 2002) is a Colombian professional tennis player. Early life Torres Murcia was born in Neiva, Huila, to Francisco Torres and Johanna Murcia. She began playing tennis at the age of eight. Junior career In September 2017, she and Lína Sáchica won the doubles title at the J5 Copa Pereira, defeating Gabriela Giraldo and Gabriela Macías in the final. In July 2019, she and Jazmín Ortenzi won the doubles title at the J5 Copa Ciudad de Medellín. Professional career In September 2021, she and Romina Ccuno won the doubles title at the W15 Ibagué Destino Deporte, defeating Alica Rusová and Antonia Samudio in the final. In November 2022, she and Ccuno reached the doubles final of the W15 Copa Federación in Lima, but lost to Anastasia Iamachkine and Lucciana Pérez Alarcón. Neiva () is the capital and most populated city of the Department of Huila, south central Colombia. It is located in the valley of the Magdalena River with a municipal population of 388,299. It is one of the most important cities in southern Colombia, mainly because of its strategic geographical location. History Neiva was first founded in 1539 by Juan de Cabrera in an area now belonging to the municipality of Campoalegre. Huila () is one of the departments of Colombia. It is located in the southwest of the country, and its capital is Neiva. National Games Of Colombia
The National Games of Colombia () is the premier multi-sport event of Colombia at national level. The first instance of the event was organized in 1928 and for several years it took place at irregular intervals of time. Currently overseen by the Ministry of Sports, the National Games were initially organised by each department and municipality until 1941. After that, they were directly funded by the government and later managed by Coldeportes from 1968 to 2019. The event has been held regularly every 4 years since 1988, except for 2014. Lucciana Pérez Alarcón (born 8 May 2005) is a Peruvian tennis player. She played college tennis for the Texas A&M Aggies and was named Southeastern Conference (SEC) Freshman of the Year in 2024.
