Lucciana Pérez Alarcón
Lucciana Pérez Alarcón (born 8 May 2005) is a Peruvian tennis player. She played college tennis for the Texas A&M Aggies and was named Southeastern Conference (SEC) Freshman of the Year in 2024. She helped the Aggies win their first NCAA Women's Championship that season. Career Junior Competing at the 2022 US Open, she lost in the first round to top seed Sofia Costoulas. She reached the final of the girls' singles draw at the 2023 French Open where she lost to Alina Korneeva, in straight sets. Professional In 2023, Pérez Alarcón received a Grand Slam Player Development Grant from the ITF. She represented Peru in the Billie Jean King Cup in April 2023, playing singles and doubles against Chile, Colombia, Bolivia, Argentina and Guatemala in the 2023 Billie Jean King Cup Americas Zone. Texas A&M Aggies Women's Tennis
The Texas A&M Aggies women's tennis team represents the Texas A&M University in NCAA Division I NCAA Division I women's tennis championships, intercollegiate women's tennis competition. The Aggies compete in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The team began play in 1980. Since then the Aggies have won 1 NCAA Championships (2024) and were also the NCAA runner-up in 2013. The majority of program history can be defined by the success of Bobby Kleinecke, who during his tenure as head coach from 1986 to 2011, made 17 NCAA tournament appearances. Kleinecke was named Southwest Conference, SWC Coach of the Year in 1986 and Big 12 Conference, Big 12 Coach of the Year in 2003 and 2004. The current head coach is Mark Weaver. Alice Tubello (born 30 January 2001) is a French tennis player. Tubello has a career-high singles ranking by the WTA of 219 achieved on 26 August 2024.
