Levan Papava
Levan Papava ( ka, ლევან პაპავა, born 2 November 1993) is a Georgian footballer who plays as a forward for Erovnuli Liga club Gareji. He is the four-time best goalscorer of the Erovnuli Liga 2 with three different clubs. Career Papava started his professional career at ''Mark Stars'' in Meore Liga. In 2013–14, he displayed his goalscoring abilities for the first time, netting 21 times in 29 games during a season in which his team slipped up at the very end of a long promotion battle and finished just one point behind group leaders Borjomi. In the summer of 2015, Papava moved to second-division side Gagra where he remained for next four seasons. His first success came a year later. With 13 goals scored in 14 league games, Papava became the top scorer of the 2016 season. He was a member of the squad that reached the cup final in 2018. 2015–16 Pirveli Liga was the 27th season of the Georgia (country), Georgian Pirveli Liga. The season began on 2 September 2015 and finished on 21 May 2016. Format The tournament consisted of 18 teams. The first two teams went straight to the top of the Premier League, and the third place player had a Playoff with a 14th place finisher. However, due to a change of league format, eventually no team were promoted to the top division. Pirveli Liga
The Georgian Erovnuli Liga 2 ( ka, ეროვნული ლიგა 2; ), organized since 1990 by the GFF, serves as the second division of professional football in Georgia. The league was introduced for the 2017 season under the current name as a part of reorganization process of the entire league system. It was formerly known as Pirveli liga (the First league). Structure There are ten clubs competing in Erovnuli Liga 2. During the season each club plays each other four times, twice at home and twice away. At the end of each season the winner gains automatic promotion and the bottom club is relegated. The runner-up and 3rd placed team participate in two-legged home and away play-off matches against the 9th and 8th placed clubs of Erovnuli Liga, respectively. In case two or more teams obtain an equal number of points, final standings are determined by an aggregate of the results between them. FC Kolkheti 1913, commonly referred to as Kolkheti Poti, is a Georgia (country), Georgian association football, football club based in Poti. The team competes in the Erovnuli Liga, the top division of Football in Georgia (country), Georgian football. Being registered in 1913, Kolkheti is considered one of the oldest clubs in the South Caucasus. They are the two-time winners of the Soviet republican championship. After an independent Umaglesi Liga was formed in 1990, Kolkheti joined it as a 3rd-tier club and subsequently spent 17 successive seasons before worsening financial problems resulted in their first relegation. As the club's decline continued, it dropped into the third division by 2020. Kolkheti had two unsuccessful playoff campaigns in Liga 3 (Georgia), Liga 3 before securing two consecutive promotions. FC Dinamo Batumi ( ka, საფეხბურთო კლუბი დინამო ბათუმი) is a Georgian professional football club based in Batumi, Adjara that competes in the Erovnuli Liga, the top division of the national football system. The club won the champion's title in 2021 and 2023, the Georgian Cup in 1997–98, and two Georgian Super Cups, in 1997–98 and 2022. FC Dila ('' Georgian'': საფეხბურთო კლუბი დილა) is a Georgian professional football club based in Gori. The club takes part in the Erovnuli Liga, the first tier of Georgian football, and plays their home games at the Tengiz Burjanadze Stadium.
