Luongo signed a season-long loan deal with Swindon Town on 2 July 2013 and was handed the number 4 shirt. At the end of August 2013, Swindon signed Luongo on a permanent three-year contract having agreed a fee of £400,000 with Spurs. He scored six goals in 44 league appearances that season, including a first professional brace in a 5–2 home win over Port Vale on 2 November.
