Yuta Kamimura
is a Japanese racing driver. He is the 2023 SRO Japan Cup champion. Early career Formula 4 In 2014, Kamimura graduated from the Suzuka Circuit Racing School Formula with a scholarship to compete in the inaugural season of the F4 Japanese Championship for Honda Formula Dream Project. Despite scoring a fifth-place finish in the season opener at Okayama, Kamimura didn't score another top-five finish until the season-ending Motegi round, where he finished fourth and ended his maiden season in single-seaters 12th in points. Kamimura returned to HFDP for the 2016 season. Despite a double podium at the opening round of the season at Okayama, Kamimura only scored points five more times and ended the season 14th in the standings. The , the , is a long motorsport race track located in Ino, Suzuka, Mie, Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture, Japan and operated by Honda Mobilityland, a subsidiary of Honda, Honda Motor Co, Ltd. It has a capacity of 155,000. It is most well known by its use by both the international Formula One; and Japanese Super Formula championships. Introduction Soichiro Honda decided to develop a new permanent circuit in Mie prefecture in the late 1950s. Designed as a Honda test track in 1962 by Dutchman John Hugenholtz, John "Hans" Hugenholtz, the track has a figure-of-eight layout, with the long back straight passing over the front section by means of an overpass. is a Japanese racing driver for Toyota Gazoo Racing who is currently competing in Super GT and Super Formula Championship, Super Formula for TOM'S. He was previously a factory driver for Honda in motorsport, Honda, and has achieved successes in a wide variety of motorsport disciplines. Career Karting Sasahara began karting aged seven in 2003. He won numerous domestic titles, including becoming JAF All Japan Championship Junior Champion in 2009. The 2017–18 Asian Le Mans Series was the sixth season of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest's Asian Le Mans Series. The 2023 Autobacs Super GT Series was a motor racing championship based in Japan for grand touring cars, sanctioned by the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) and ran by the GT Association (GTA). It was the thirty-first season of the JAF Super GT Championship, which included the All Japan Grand Touring Car Championship era, and the nineteenth season under the Super GT name. It was also the forty-first overall season of a national JAF sportscar championship dating back to the All Japan Endurance/Sports Prototype Championship. The 2025 GT World Challenge Asia Powered by AWS is the sixth season of the GT World Challenge Asia, an auto racing series for grand tourer cars in Asia, co-promoted by the SRO Motorsports Group and Team Asia One GT Management. The races are contested with GT3-spec cars. The season began on April at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia and is scheduled to end on October in the new Beijing Street Circuit in China. The races are contested with GT3-spec cars only, as the GT4 class was dropped from the series and moved to the Japan Cup Series. Fuji Speedway
is a motorsport race track standing in the foothills of Mount Fuji, in Oyama, Shizuoka, Oyama, Suntō District, Shizuoka, Suntō District, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. It was built in the early 1960s. The 2022 Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia Powered by AWS was the fourth season of the GT World Challenge Asia, an auto racing series for grand tourer cars in Asia co-promoted by the SRO Motorsports Group and Team Asia One GT Management. The races were contested with GT3-spec and GT4-spec cars. The season began on 20 May at Sepang in Malaysia and was scheduled to end on 23 October at the new Mandalika Circuit in Indonesia, however the round was cancelled due to homologation issues, therefore the championship finished at the Okayama International Circuit in Japan. It was the second season of the unification of GT3 sprint series across the globe under the World Challenge name and the first since Blancpain ended its title sponsorship of the series.
