Yateley United Football Club is a football club based in Yateley, Hampshire, England. They are currently members of the and play at Sean Devereux Park. History Yateley United F.C. was formed in 2013 through a merger of four local clubs: Yateley, Yateley Green, Yateley Youth and Beaulieu. Yateley F.C. began in 1902 playing in local leagues, and changed their name to Yateley Town in 1978. That year, they joined the new Home Counties League, subsequently renamed the Combined Counties League. The club struggled in the league until they left in 1984. The club split into two in 1985, and a new club, Yateley Green, was formed. While Yateley Town dropped into the Aldershot Senior League, winning it in 2003, Yateley Green joined the Hampshire League. Yateley () is a town and civil parish in the English county of Hampshire. It lies in the north-eastern corner of Hart District Council area, and is approximately 33 mi (53 km) southwest of Central London. It includes the settlements of Frogmore and Darby Green to the east. 1978–79 Home Counties League
The 1978–79 Home Counties League season was the first in the history of the Combined Counties Football League, a football competition in England. This was the only season in which the "Home Counties League" name was used before the league was renamed as the Combined Counties League. The Wessex Football League, known as the Velocity Wessex Football League for sponsorship reasons, is an English regional men's Association football, football league in southern England. 2004–05 Wessex Football League
The 2004–05 Wessex Football League was the 19th season of the Wessex Football League, and the first in which the league consisted of three divisions, with two new sections being added. The league champions for the second time in their history were Lymington & New Milton, who were promoted to the Isthmian League. The Surrey Premier County Football League is a regional English football league for teams in south-west London, Surrey and neighbouring areas. It was founded in 2008. The league is at the 11th level of the English football league system and was incorporated into the National League System as a Step 7 league by the Football Association in June 2012. The league was formed to bridge the gap between local intermediate leagues and the lower division of the Combined Counties League. The league is fed by the Surrey County Intermediate League (Western) and the Surrey South Eastern Combination.
