Whitecaps FC Academy ( sponsor name Whitecaps FC BMO Academy) is the youth system of the professional soccer club Vancouver Whitecaps, based in Vancouver, British Columbia. It fields a men's and women's team in the semi-professional League1 British Columbia. Men's The men's academy is officially named the Vancouver Whitecaps FC MLS Academy. It is a full-time, fully funded, player development program. Originally known as the Vancouver Whitecaps Residency programs, they changed their name in 2018 to the Whitecaps FC Academy. They have affiliations with youth soccer clubs across Canada, forming part of the Whitecaps FC BMO Academy. Cornelius Stewart (born 7 October 1989) is a Saint Vincentian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Liga 1 club Semen Padang and captains the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines national team. The 2024–25 CONCACAF W Champions Cup was the first season of the CONCACAF W Champions Cup, the annual continental women's football club competition organized by CONCACAF. The winner qualified for both the inaugural 2026 FIFA Women's Champions Cup, and the inaugural 2028 FIFA Women's Club World Cup. Format On 12 March 2024, CONCACAF announced the inaugural edition of the CONCACAF W Champions Cup. The tournament will feature eleven teams from seven CONCACAF member associations.
