WBBQ-FM (104.3 MHz) is a commercial FM radio station in Augusta, Georgia. It carries an adult contemporary radio format and is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc. For much of November and December, WBBQ-FM switches to Christmas music. The radio studios and offices are located at the Augusta Corporate Center on Perimeter Parkway, near the I-20/I-520 interchange in Augusta. The station is licensed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to Martinez and has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 24.5 kW. WYNF (1340 AM) is a radio station licensed to Augusta, Georgia, United States. The station is owned by iHeartMedia, and serves as Augusta's affiliate for the Black Information Network. Its studios are located at the Augusta Corporate Center near the I-20/I-520 interchange in Augusta, and the transmitter tower is west of Paine College in Augusta. Up until September 2010, this station, as WSGF, carried a gospel format as "Hallelujah 1340". Aiken is the largest city in, and the county seat of, Aiken County, in western South Carolina. It is one of the two largest cities of the Central Savannah River Area. Urban Adult Contemporary
Urban adult contemporary, often abbreviated as urban AC or UAC, (also known as adult R&B,) is the name for a format of radio music, similar to an urban contemporary format. Radio stations using this format usually would not have hip hop music on their playlists, and generally include some mix of contemporary R&B and traditional R&B (while urban oldies stations emphasize only the latter).
