Veluchamy
''Veluchami'' is a 1995 Tamil-language drama film directed by Arul, who had worked as a storywriter and dialogue writer in ''Aranmanai Kaavalan'' (1994). The film stars Sarath Kumar, Vineetha and newcomer Shruthi. The film had musical score by Deva and was released on 15 January 1995. Plot Veluchami (Sarath Kumar) was brought by Periya Ayya (Jaiganesh), a rich man, since his mother died and his uncle Maruthu (Delhi Ganesh) tried to sell him when he was a kid. Later, Periya Ayya's wife died while she was pregnant. By a miracle, the baby was still alive and this baby girl was named Chinnamma (Shruthi), Veluchami took care of her. Many years later, Veluchami becomes a heart-of-gold man who helps the villagers, and he cannot tolerate injustice. Goundamani
Subramaniyan Karuppaiya (born 25 May 1939), known by his stage name Goundamani, is an Indian actor and comedian who works in Tamil cinema. He is known for his comic duo partnership in Tamil films with fellow actor Senthil. The pair dominated the Tamil industry as comedians in the 1980s and 90s. He was called Goundamani after acting as a Gounder in one of his early day dramas and the pseudonym stuck with him forever. Thennavan is an Indian actor who has appeared in supporting roles. Piraisoodan (6 February 1956 – 8 October 2021) was a Tamil poet and lyricist. He won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Lyricist for his songs in movies like '' Thayagam'', '' En Rasavin Manasile'' and ''Neeyum Naanum'' in 1996, 1991 and 2010 respectively. Vairamuthu Ramasamy (born 13 July 1953) is an Indian lyricist, poet, and novelist working in the Tamil film industry. He is a prominent figure in the Tamil literary world. A master's graduate from the Pachaiyappa's College in Chennai, he first worked as a translator, while also being a published poet. He entered the Tamil film industry in the year 1980, with the film '' Nizhalgal'', an Ilaiyaraaja musical, directed by Bharathiraja.
