Vacon Open
The Finnish Challenge is a golf tournament on the Challenge Tour. It was first played at Golf Talma in Talma, Finland, from 2001 to 2003, but took a hiatus from 2004 to 2011. The 2012–14 editions of the tournament were played at the Kytäjä Golf Club in Kytäjä, Hyvinkää, Finland. The 2015 tournament was played at Aura Golf Club in Turku. From 2016 to 2023, the tournament was played at the Vierumäki Resort in Vierumäki Vierumäki Ratapiha. Vierumäki is a village located in the Finnish municipality Heinola in the region Päijät-Häme, Finland. There are about 900–1,000 inhabitants. Neighbouring villages are Vuolenkoski in Iitti, Myllyoja in Heinola, Mäke .... In 2023, Lauri Ruuska recorded a round of 59, becoming the fourth sub-60 round on the Challenge Tour. Vierumäki Ratapiha. Vierumäki is a village located in the Finnish municipality Heinola in the region Päijät-Häme, Finland. There are about 900–1,000 inhabitants. Neighbouring villages are Vuolenkoski in Iitti, Myllyoja in Heinola, Mäkelä in Nastola and Urajärvi in Asikkala. Vierumäki is known for hosting international ice hall sports events. Robert MacIntyre
Robert "Bob" Duncan MacIntyre (born 3 August 1996) is a Scottish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour and PGA Tour. Amateur career MacIntyre had a successful amateur career. In 2013 he won both the Scottish Youths Championship and the Scottish Boys Open Stroke-Play Championship. He won the Scottish Amateur in 2015. In 2016 he lost 2&1 to Scott Gregory (golfer), Scott Gregory in the final of the Amateur Championship at Royal Porthcawl Golf Club. MacIntyre represented Scotland in the 2016 Eisenhower Trophy and played in the 2017 Walker Cup. He attended McNeese State University from 2014 to 2015. Professional career MacIntyre turned professional in late 2017. Kim Koivu
Kim Koivu (born 11 April 1991) is a Finnish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He won three times on the 2018 Challenge Tour. Amateur career Koivu attended Georgia Southern University from 2013 to 2015, having previously attended Brevard College for two years. Koivu played on the Nordic Golf League as an amateur during 2017. At the end of the season, he qualified for the final stage of the European Tour Q-school. He turned professional at the end of the season. Professional career Koivu's success in reaching the final stage of the Q-school gained him entry to 2018 Challenge Tour events. Bryce Easton
Bryce Easton (born 5 September 1987) is a South African professional golfer who plays on the Challenge Tour and the Sunshine Tour. Easton was born in Durban. He joined the Sunshine Tour in 2011 and finished in 46th on the Order of Merit in his rookie season. On 26 May 2012, he picked up his first win on Tour at the Sun City Challenge. Easton eagled the final hole of the tournament to force a playoff with Brandon Pieters, Allan Versfeld, and Andrew Georgiou. He then shot another eagle to win the playoff. José-Filipe Lima
José-Filipe Lima (born Philippe Lima; November 26, 1981) is a French-Portuguese professional golfer. He won the 2004 Aa St Omer Open to gain a place on the European Tour. His best seasons were from 2005 to 2007 when he finished in the top-100 on the European Tour Order of Merit. Successful Challenge Tour seasons in 2009, 2013 and 2016 have promoted him back to the European Tour but, on each occasion he has failed to retain his place on the tour. He was runner-up in the 2007 BMW International Open. Early life Lima has Portuguese parents but was born in Versailles, France and grew up mainly in France. His father worked at Saint-Nom-La-Bretèche, which was the host course of the Trophée Lancôme until that tournament ceased in 2003, and was his son's first coach. Bo Jesper Svensson (born 14 March 1996) is a Swedish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour and PGA Tour. In 2024, he won the Porsche Singapore Classic and was runner-up three times to become the European Tour Rookie of the Year. Early life and amateur career Svensson was born in Uppsala, Sweden.
