Unna Nenachen Pattu Padichen
''Unna Nenachen Pattu Padichen'' () is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by Guru Dhanapal. The film stars Karthik, Sasikala and Monisha. It was released on 12 April 1992. Plot Muthurasu and Periyasamy are brothers, and live with their father and their grandmother. Meenakshi, Muthurasu's cousin, will marry another man but she must marry Muthurasu or Periyasamy as per the customs. The brothers then decide to kidnap Meenakshi. In the process, Periyasamy dies. The two villages then clash and arrange a panchayat to solve the problem. During the panchayat, Meenakshi says that she will stay in her uncle's house because Meenakshi hates the groom. Muthurasu's father decides to arrange the marriage between Muthurasu and Meenakshi but Muthurasu cannot forget his lover Dhanam who died a few years ago. Guru Dhanapal
Guru Dhanapal (2 March 1959 – 18 April 2014) was an Indian film director, who worked in Tamil cinema, mostly with actor Sathyaraj. Career Guru Dhanapal made his directorial debut with '' Unna Nenachen Pattu Padichen'' (1992) starring Karthik, Sasikala, and Monisha in leading roles. In the 1990s, the director made a series of film starring Sathyaraj in the lead role, achieving box office success with ''Thai Maaman'' (1994) after which he made '' Maaman Magal'' (1995) and ''Periya Manushan'' (1997). The three films were described as "routine comedy masala ventures" and were filmed in very quick schedules. In between he collaborated with Jayaram twice in '' Periya Idathu Mappillai'' (1997) and ''Raja Magal'', which did not release, as well as directing a portion of ''Suyamvaram'' (1999), which featured an ensemble cast of actors from the Tamil film industry. ''Kalki'' is a Tamil-language weekly magazine published from Chennai, India. The magazine was established by Kalki Krishnamurthy, a popular Tamil novelist and Indian freedom fighter, in 1941. Minmini (born P. J. Rosily) is a South Indian film playback singer. She is best remembered for the song "Chinna Chinna Aasai" from '' Roja'', the debut work of film composer A. R. Rahman, which was dubbed in Hindi as "Choti Si Asha". Most of her songs are in Tamil, most of them composed by Ilaiyaraaja and A. R. Rahman. Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood. After a few years, Chattu Nair married Ammalu in an arranged marriage. Vasudevan was born on 15 June 1944 as their eighth and youngest child. Even though he was a Malayali, as was the case with the majority of contemporary South Indian migrants to Malaya then, his surroundings in Malaysia was dominated by the Tamil language and culture. Piraisoodan (6 February 1956 – 8 October 2021) was a Tamil poet and lyricist. He won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Lyricist for his songs in movies like '' Thayagam'', '' En Rasavin Manasile'' and ''Neeyum Naanum'' in 1996, 1991 and 2010 respectively.
