Pickup truck races in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series have been held at North Wilkesboro Speedway in North Carolina in 1995 and 1996, and since 2023 as part of NASCAR Cup Series NASCAR All-Star Race, All-Star Race weekend. The race is currently known as Window World 250 for sponsorship reasons. History In 1995 NASCAR SuperTruck Series, 1995, the race was the Lowe's 150 and the race in 1996 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, 1996 was the Lowe's 250. The first Truck Series race at North Wilkesboro in 1995 featured the return of Cup Series driver Ernie Irvan, who was not able to race for over a year after suffering an injury in the 1994 GM Goodwrench Dealer 400, 1994 Cup Series race at Michigan in August. He entered the race to get re-acclimated to racing so he would be better prepared for the Cup Series race on the same weekend. Mike Bliss would win that race. It was his first Truck Series win. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is a pickup truck racing series owned and operated by the NASCAR, National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR), and is the only series in NASCAR to race production pickup truck-based stock car racing, stock cars. The 2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series was the 29th season of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, a stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in the United States. The season started with the NextEra Energy 250 on February 17 at Daytona International Speedway, and ended with the Craftsman 150 on November 3 at Phoenix Raceway. This was the first season of the Truck Series with Stanley Black & Decker as the series sponsor. The 2022 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series was the 28th season of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, a stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in the United States. The season started with the NextEra Energy 250 on February 18 at Daytona International Speedway, and concluded with the Lucas Oil 150 on November 4 at Phoenix Raceway. This was the final season of the Truck Series with Camping World as the title sponsor, as CEO Marcus Lemonis announced the brand would not return for the 2023 season. Ultra Motorsports was a NASCAR Winston Cup and Craftsman Truck Series racing team. Jim Smith helped start the team and the Craftsman Truck Series. It ran full-time in the Craftsman Truck Series from 1995 to 2005, earning 31 series wins and a championship in 2005 with Ted Musgrave.
