2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series
The 2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is the 29th season of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, a stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in the United States. The season started with the NextEra Energy 250 on February 17 at Daytona International Speedway, and will end with the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship Race on November 3 at Phoenix Raceway. This is the first season of the Truck Series with Craftsman as the title sponsor since 2008. Camping World, the title sponsor of the series from 2009 to 2022, did not renew their title sponsorship of the series and Craftsman returned as the title sponsor, although the tool company is now owned by Stanley Black & Decker instead of Sears, who owned Craftsman when they were the series title sponsor from 1995 to 2008. The NASCAR Truck Series Drivers' Championship is awarded by the chairman of NASCAR to the most successful NASCAR Camping World Truck Series racing car driver over a season, as determined by a points system based on race results. The Drivers' Championship was first awarded in 1995 to Mike Skinner. The first driver to win multiple Championships was Ron Hornaday Jr., in 1996 and 1998. The most recent Drivers' Champion is Zane Smith who won his first championship in 2022. 1995 NASCAR SuperTruck Series
The 1995 NASCAR SuperTruck Series presented by Craftsman was the inaugural season of the NASCAR SuperTruck Series. The season began on February 5, 1995, and ended on October 28. Mike Skinner of Richard Childress Racing won the championship. Prior to and after the season, NASCAR conducted seven exhibition races. This was the first year that Dodge ran in NASCAR in any capacity since 1985. Stacy Bret Holmes (born May 5, 1997) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 32 Chevrolet Silverado for Bret Holmes Racing. He won the 2020 ARCA Menards Series championship with BHR. Racing career Holmes began racing when he ran in go-kart events starting at age 8 and for four years in total, earning 60 wins altogether during that time.
