"Totally Wired" is a song by The Fall (band), the Fall. Released in September 1980, the single became one of their signature tracks. The track subsequently appeared on CD reissues of their album ''Grotesque (After the Gramme)''. The track reached no. 2 in the UK Independent Chart, UK Independent Singles Chart and no. 25 in New Zealand. Release The track appeared in John Peel's Festive Fifty in both 1980 and 1981, reaching 21 and 56 respectively and number 34 on All Time Festive Fifty broadcast in 2000. Danny Baker
Danny Baker (born 22 June 1957) is an English comedy writer, journalist, radio DJ and screenwriter. Throughout his career he has largely presented for London's regional radio and television. Baker was born in Deptford to a working-class family and raised in Bermondsey. From 1977 he wrote for the punk zine '' Sniffin' Glue'', and from there was hired by the ''New Musical Express'', where he worked as a writer, reviewer, and interviewer. Moving into television in 1980, he began presenting London Weekend Television's ''Twentieth Century Box'' and reporting for '' The Six O'Clock Show''. In 1989 he began radio presenting for BBC Radio London and in 1990 joined the newly established BBC Radio 5. In 1997 he was dismissed from the latter, accused of inciting threatening behaviour toward a football referee. That decade, he also began writing for television. Johnny Marr
John Martin Marr (Birth name#Maiden and married names, né Maher; born 31 October 1963) is a musician, songwriter and singer. He first achieved fame as the guitarist and co-songwriter of the Smiths, who were active from 1982 to 1987. He has since performed with numerous other bands and embarked on a solo career. Castlefield Bowl
The Castlefield Bowl (originally the Castlefield Events Arena and formerly the Castlefield Arena) is an outdoor events pavilion in the inner city conservation area of Castlefield in Manchester, England. Reinvigorated in 1993, the lead architect was DEGW Architects. The tensile roof structure was designed bRudi Enos and is a semi-cantilever framework incorporating lighting and sound. The arena is often used for food festivals and music events. The Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown headlined New Year's Eve 1999, which was the first show at the pavilion. The arena has played host to New Order, The Last Shadow Puppets, Bloc Party, The Strypes, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Noel Gallagher and The Courteeners. The Dream Synopsis
''The Dream Synopsis'' is an extended play by English supergroup the Last Shadow Puppets, released on 2 December 2016 by Domino Recording Company. It was produced by Patrick Higgins in Hudson, New York and contains re-recordings of two songs from the band's second album, ''Everything You've Come to Expect'', as well as four cover versions that the band played during their 2016 tour. The album artwork features a still picture of the band recording the music video for their cover of " Is This What You Wanted". It was the final release of the band's second period of activity. Background and recording ''The Dream Synopsis EP'' was recorded in one day at Future-Past Studios in August 2016. The songs featured on the release were recorded live in the studio. The Last Shadow Puppets are an English supergroup consisting of Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys), Miles Kane ( the Little Flames, the Rascals), James Ford (Simian, Simian Mobile Disco), and Zach Dawes ( Mini Mansions). The Last Shadow Puppets were formed by co-frontmen, Alex Turner and Miles Kane, in 2007, after they became friends when the Little Flames supported Arctic Monkeys on tour in 2005. They bonded over their shared love of Scott Walker and David Bowie, and decided to write songs inspired by their music. Terry Edwards (born 10 August 1960) is an English musician who plays trumpet, flugelhorn, saxophones, guitar and keyboards. Biography Edwards gained a degree in music from the University of East Anglia in 1982, where he was also a founding member of The Higsons.
