''Too Softhearted'' ( Chinese: 心太軟; pinyin: ''Xīn Tài Ruǎn''), is the fifth studio album by Taiwanese recording artist Richie Jen, released on December 24, 1996, via Rock Records. The album spawned the titular track as the lead single. Musically, the album incorporates a range of musical styles such as R&B, pop, disco and flamenco. A major commercial success, ''Too Softhearted'' sold over 1 million copies in mainland China and over 2.3 million copies across Asia. Richie Jen Hsien-chi (, born 23 June 1966), also known as Richie Ren, is a Taiwanese singer and actor. He graduated from the Chinese Culture University's physical education department. Jen debuted in December 1990 with the studio album ''Ask Again'' under Synco Cultural Corporation. In 1996, he signed a contract with Rock Records and released the album ''I Feel Good!'', which sold over 160,000 copies in Taiwan. Flamenco () is an art form based on the various folkloric music traditions of southern Spain, developed within the Gitanos, gitano subculture of the region of Andalusia, and also having historical presence in Extremadura and Region of Murcia, Murcia.
