Tassaduq Hussain
Tassaduq Hussain (died January 13, 1982) was a Pakistani film music director. He is known for composing playback music for the Lollywood movies '' Roopmati Baaz Bahadur'' (1960), ''Humrahi'' (1966), '' Zinda Laash'' (1967), and ''Nai Laila Naya Majnu'' (1969). He was honored with the Presidential Award in 1960. Career Hussain's debut film ''Chhoti Begum'' was released on May 11, 1956. It was a golden jubilee blockbuster. For Sabiha Khanum, he employed vocalist Kausar Parveen's voice. He had a lucky year in 1957 as he scored two films, ''Daata'' and ''Nigaar''. Saleem Raza's song "''Kar Saari Khataein Muaaf Meri''", became an instant hit in the earlier movie, which also starred ''Sabiha Khanum'' with Sudhir in the lead roles. In 1958, Hussain received two films ''Naya Zamana'' and ''Naya Daur''. The 1960 movies ''Bhabi'' and ''Shahzadi'' included music by him. Naseem Begum ( Punjabi, ur, ; 9 November 1942 – 5 March 1990), known professionally as Mala ( ur, ), was a Pakistani playback singer of Urdu and Punjabi films. In the 1960s, Mala was a 'hit pair for singing duet film songs' with famous playback singer Ahmed Rushdi and they gave numerous hits to Pakistan film industry. She was also called ''Princess Mala Begum'' as she provided the singing voice for actresses who portrayed roles of royal and upper-class families in films. Irene Perveen also spelled as Irene Parveen is a Pakistani playback singer from the 1960s, who mainly sang for Pakistani films. Fayyaz Hashmi
Fayyaz Hashmi ( ur, ; 1920 2011) was a Pakistani poet and screenwriter who worked both in the Indian and Pakistani film industry. He penned some memorable songs such as the famous nazm Aaj Jaane Ki Zid Na Karo and ''Tasveer teri dil mera behela nah sakegi''. The latter made the singer Talat Mahmood famous in India back in 1944 and was instrumental in introducing him to the Calcutta film industry. A little known fact about him is that he wrote the famous 'Na tum mere na dil mera', that was sung by Kamla Jharia, among many others. Muzaffar Warsi (23 December 1933 – 28 January 2011; ur, مظفر وارثی) was a Pakistani poet, essayist, lyricist, and a scholar of Urdu. He began writing more than five decades ago. He wrote a rich collection of na`ats, as well as several anthologies of ghazals and nazms, and his autobiography ''Gaye Dinon Ka Suraagh''.
