Étienne De Crécy
Étienne Bernard Marie de Crécy (, born 25 February 1969, Lyon, France), also known as Superdiscount, EDC, Minos Pour Main Basse (Sur La Ville) and Mooloodjee, is a French DJ and producer who composes electronic music, primarily house. Biography Crécy was born in Lyon, but moved to Versailles from Marseille in the mid-1980s, attending the same Jules Ferry college as Air and Alex Gopher, with whom he later created the Solid label. He then worked in Paris as a sound engineer at studio +XXX ("plus thirty") where he met Philippe Zdar of Cassius, with whom he worked as Motorbass for the album '' Pansoul'', a preview of what would be his first solo album, '' Super Discount'', released in 1996, with Air, Alex Gopher and other French artists on Solid. ''Tempovision'' is the second studio album by French DJ and producer Étienne de Crécy, released on 23 October 2000 through Disques Solid and V2 Records. It includes the singles " Am I Wrong", "Scratched" and "Tempovision", which had 3D computer-animated videos made for them by de Crécy's brother, Geoffroy de Crécy. "Am I Wrong" and "Scratched" charted at numbers 44 and 80 on the UK Singles Chart, respectively. Alexis Latrobe (), known professionally as Alex Gopher, is a French mastering engineer, electronic musician and producer. He worked as a sound engineer at Translab Studio, notably for Angèle, Clara Luciani, Lomepal, -M-, Mr. Oizo, Gesaffelstein and Etienne Daho. Latrobe has contributed a great amount to the French touch movement of the 1990s. Career Latrobe began his musical career playing bass in the band Orange with future Air members Jean-Benoît Dunckel and Nicolas Godin.
