Star Crime
Star Crime is a television network, owned by the Disney Entertainment division of The Walt Disney Company, used as replacement of Fox Crime. Its basic programming include numerous television series, sitcoms and movies, among others, related to crime, horror and investigation. As of February 2024, the channel is active in three regions: the Balkans, Bulgaria and Portugal. The rebranding took place on October 1, 2023 for the Balkans and Bulgaria and on February 7, 2024 for Portugal. It consists of the company's entertainment media and content businesses, including its motion picture film studios, television divisions and streaming services. Fox Crime (stylized as FOXCRIME), was a television network, launched by the Fox Networks Group, which aired across several countries of Europe, Africa and Asia such as Italy, Portugal, Serbia, Bulgaria, and Turkey. Its basic programming including numerous television series, sitcoms and movies, among others, related to crime, horror and investigation. It was first launched in Italy on 31 October 2004, the Balkans (which includes countries that previously part of Yugoslavia) and Bulgaria on 13 October 2006, Portugal on 28 September 2007, Hong Kong on 3 May 2008, Singapore on 2 October 2006, and in Vietnam on 29 October 2007. Star Comedy (formerly FX and Fox Comedy) is a Portuguese pay television channel that broadcasts comedy series and films, owned by The Walt Disney Company Portugal. Programs are mostly imported, mainly from the United States, occasionally also Canada and the United Kingdom. Star Channel is an international television channel brand owned by the Disney Entertainment business segment of the Walt Disney Company. Originally launched in Latin America on February 22, 2021, it expanded worldwide as a replacement for the international Fox (international), Fox channels inherited from the Fox Networks Group division of 21st Century Fox that Disney acquired on March 20, 2019. As of 2023, apart from the Fox channel rebrands, other former Fox channels in the Baltic states, CIS, Greece and Poland instead transitioned to being branded as FX (international), FX.
