"Skyscrapers" (Chinese: 摩天大楼; pinyin: ''Mótiāndàlóu'') is a song by Chinese singer-songwriter Joker Xue. It was released on April 18, 2018 as a single then later included on his ninth studio album ''Freak'' (2018) under Huayu World Expo; both of which have been acquired by Xue's own label Chaoshi Music. "Skyscrapers" was noted for breaking through the "Xue Style Love Song" Xue is known for and expanding beyond the themes of romantic love. It served as the theme of Xue's Skyscraper World Tour, where the setlist and stage performances conveyed the aspirations of the song . In May 2018, "Skyscrapers" ranked first on Billboard Radio China Top 10 Chart. Joker Xue (, born July 17, 1983) is a Chinese singer-songwriter and record producer, formerly known as Jacky Xue. One of the most-streamed and most popular Mandopop artists, he is known for his emotional vocal delivery with works that span various styles such as Ballad, ballads, rock music, and Rhythm and blues, R&B. Xue's Extraterrestrial World Tour, drawing more than 5 million people, is among the List of most-attended concert tours, most-attended concert tours of all-time. Zhang Yadong ( zh, s=张亚东, p=Zhāng Yàdōng, born in Shanxi, China, 11 March 1969) is one of China's best-known record producers, known as "the golden producer". His mother was a Shanxi#Music, Shanxi Opera singer. He learned the cello from age 8 and began composing when he was 13. Skyscraper World Tour
The Skyscraper World Tour is the second concert tour and first world tour held by Chinese singer-songwriter Joker Xue. Xue performed 23 shows across four continents with 15 shows in Asia, 1 show in Europe, 4 shows in North America, and 3 shows in Oceania. All venues in Mainland China were upgraded from arena to stadium. The tour began on July 14, 2018, at Workers' Stadium in Beijing and concluded on May 19, 2019, at AsiaWorld–Arena in Hong Kong. Total attendance is approximately 400,000. ''Freak'' () is the ninth album by Chinese singer-songwriter Joker Xue. It was released digitally on December 31, 2018, by Huayu World Expo and later acquired by Xue's own label Chaoshi Music.
