Siouxland Open
The Dakota Dunes Open was a golf tournament on the Buy.com Tour. It was inaugurated in 1990 as one of the founding tournaments on the tour, then known as the Ben Hogan Tour, and ran until 2001. It was played in Sioux City, Iowa for the first three years before moving to the Dakota Dunes Country Club in Dakota Dunes, South Dakota in 1993, where it stayed for the remainder of its existence. Dakota Dunes is an Unincorporated area, unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP), master-planned residential and commercial development covering about in Union County, South Dakota, Union County in the extreme southeast corner of the U.S. state of South Dakota. Ryan Howison
Ryan Howison (born December 26, 1966) is an American former professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour from 1995 to 2008. Howison earned his PGA Tour card through qualifying school in 1994. He split time between the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour (now Korn Ferry Tour) in 1995. He played on the Nationwide Tour from 1996 to 1999 and picked up three victories. He won the Nike Lakeland Classic in 1997 and in 1999 he won the Nike Lakeland Classic again and the Nike Ozarks Open en route to a 10th-place finish on the money list, earning him his PGA Tour card for 2000. He returned to the Nationwide Tour in 2001 where he would play until 2008. Howison played baseball, not golf, at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was the starting third baseman for the 1989 College World Series team. Clarence Rose
Clarence Rose (born December 8, 1957) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, and Champions Tour. Rose was born in Goldsboro, North Carolina, where he makes his home today. He attended Clemson University and was a member of the golf team, an All-American in 1980. He turned pro and joined the PGA Tour in 1981. Rose has more than two dozen top-10 finishes including one win and six runners-up in official PGA Tour events. He captured his first victory at the 1996 Sprint International in his 16th year on the Tour. His best finish in a major championship was T40 at the 1988 U.S. Open. Greg Hamilton (golfer)
Greg Hamilton is a Canadian baseball player, coach and executive. Hamilton was born in Toronto, Ontario, and grew up in Peterborough, Ontario. He played hockey as a freshman at Princeton University, then became a pitcher for the baseball team. Hamilton was on the Ivy League champions in 1991. He also was assistant coach for two years at Princeton. In 1992, Hamilton was hired as the pitching coach for Team Canada. Glen Anthony Hnatiuk (born May 15, 1965) is a Canadian professional golfer. Early life Hnatiuk was born in Selkirk, Manitoba, Canada and attended the University of Southern Mississippi for college in the United States. He turned professional in 1990 and would then play on the Nationwide Tour for many years. Sean Patrick Murphy (born August 17, 1965) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour. Amateur career Murphy was born in Des Moines, Iowa. His father got him started with golf at age 6. He was the New Mexico High School Champion in 1982 and 1984, and American Junior Golf Association Southwest Champion in 1983.
