Seville (band)
Seville was a rock group formed in the winter of 2001, by Mike Marsh of The Agency and Dan Bonebrake of The Vacant Andys and formerly Dashboard Confessional. They disbanded in 2003, with all members pursuing other projects. History Both The Agency and The Vacant Andys were South Florida bands active around the time that Dashboard Confessional was gaining momentum. Marsh and Bonebrake formed Seville with ex-Vacant Andy John Owens and ex-Agency Chris Drueke. Seville quickly recorded the first 6-song e.p. "Waiting In Seville" on Fiddler Records and went on tour with Dashboard Confessional. By the end of 2001, Seville had already toured with Ben Kweller, Sense Field, Duvall, Further Seems Forever, Ultimate Fakebook, Midtown, and Rival Schools. Alternative Rock
Alternative rock (also known as alternative music, alt-rock or simply alternative) is a category of rock music that evolved from the independent music underground of the 1970s. Alternative rock acts achieved mainstream success in the 1990s with the likes of the grunge, shoegaze, and Britpop subgenres in the United States and United Kingdom, respectively. During this period, many record labels were looking for "alternatives", as many corporate rock, hard rock, and glam metal acts from the 1980s were beginning to grow stale throughout the music industry. Indie Rock
Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand from the 1970s to the 1980s. Originally used to describe independent record labels, the term became associated with the music they produced and was initially used interchangeably with alternative rock or "Pop rock, guitar pop rock". One of the primary scenes of the movement was Dunedin, where Dunedin sound, a cultural scene based around a convergence of noise pop and jangle became popular among the city's University of Otago, large student population. Folk Rock

Mike Marsh (musician)
Mike Marsh (born August 13, 1974 in Miami, Florida) is the drummer for The Avett Brothers and formerly of Dashboard Confessional. Mike was featured on all Dashboard Confessional's albums, from '' The Places You Have Come To Fear The Most'' to ''Alter the Ending''. He also played with them for MTV Unplugged. In 2006, Marsh and Dashboard Confessional did an AOL Sessions recording, playing not only their songs, but a cover of "In A Big Country" by Big Country. According to posts by Mike on Facebook, he officially joined The Avett Brothers as their drummer in early 2013. Mike is also an engineer and record producer. He has a recording studio in East Nashville called Papermill Studio. Biography Marsh started drumming in 9th grade around 13 years of age. Dashboard Confessional is an American rock band from Boca Raton, Florida, led by singer Chris Carrabba. Fiddler Records was a small independent record label serving as the launch pad for several artists seminal to the pop, punk and emo genres. Starting as the brainchild of 16-year-old entrepreneur Amy Fleisher Madden in 1996, the label became well known for its early releases from marquee artists Dashboard Confessional and New Found Glory. Ben Kweller
Benjamin Lev Kweller (born June 16, 1981) is an American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. A former member of Radish, Kweller has released six solo albums and appeared on several collaborations. Early life Ben Kweller was born in San Francisco in 1981. In 1982, his family relocated to Emory, Texas, where his father, Howard Kweller, became the town's first doctor. In 1986, the Kwellers moved to the larger Texas town of Greenville. Kweller was exposed to music at a very early age. Howard taught Ben how to play the drums when he was seven years old. For the next year, they would play together almost every night after Howard got home from work. Howard sang and played guitar while Ben played the drums. Sense Field
Sense Field was an American post-hardcore band from Southern California, formed in 1990. Originally consisting of vocalist Jon Bunch, guitarist Chris Evenson, guitarist Rodney Sellars, bassist John Stockberger, and drummer Scott McPherson, the band formed from the ashes of hardcore punk band, Reason to Believe. Sense Field disbanded in 2004 although briefly reformed for two Revelation Records anniversary shows, as well as a pair of memorial shows in 2016, following the death of Jon Bunch. Further Seems Forever
Further Seems Forever is an American rock band formed in 1998 in Pompano Beach, Florida. Over its initial eight-year run the band experienced several lineup changes, resulting in a different lead vocalist performing on each of their first three studio albums. Original singer Chris Carrabba recorded ''The Moon Is Down'' (2001) with the group before leaving to start Dashboard Confessional. He was replaced by Jason Gleason, who performed on ''How to Start a Fire'' (2003) but left the band the following year. Former Sense Field vocalist Jon Bunch joined Further Seems Forever for ''Hide Nothing'' (2004). The band broke up in 2006 but reunited four years later with Carrabba on vocals.
