''I Paralyze'' is the seventeenth studio album by American singer-actress Cher, released in 1982 by Columbia Records. It was her only album for the label. The album was a commercial failure and failed to chart. The album was promoted by the release of two singles, "Rudy (song), Rudy", and "I Paralyze (song), I Paralyze", both of which also failed to chart. Following the record's release, Cher took a five-year hiatus from music to focus on her film career due to a lack of successful albums and singles. She made a comeback in 1987 when she released the Platinum-certified album ''Cher (1987 album), Cher''. Album information Recorded in 1982, the album was produced by John Farrar (of Olivia Newton-John fame) and David Wolfert and it is her first collaboration with composer and producer Desmond Child. Henri Belolo
Henri Belolo (; 27 November 1936 – 3 August 2019) was a French music producer and songwriter active during the disco era. Born in Morocco, he started his career as a club DJ and A&R man. In the 1970s, with his friend, composer Jacques Morali, he worked in the United States, creating The Ritchie Family as well as their most successful group, Village People. Life and career Belolo was born to a Moroccan Jewish family in Casablanca, Morocco, and grew up there listening to music introduced by US troops as well as that of African musicians. He studied business in Casablanca, before traveling in 1956 to Paris, France, where he met record company owner and producer Eddie Barclay. Belolo worked with Barclay, importing and promoting records, and started working as a club DJ, work which he continued after returning to Casablanca.

''Dead Ringer'' is the second studio album by American rock singer Meat Loaf, released on September 4, 1981. It is the second of four albums written entirely by Jim Steinman. The album cover was designed by comic book artist and horror illustrator Bernie Wrightson. Album background Steinman started to work on '' Bad for Good'', the album that was supposed to be the follow-up to 1977's '' Bat Out of Hell'', in 1978. During that time, a combination of touring, drugs and exhaustion had caused Meat Loaf to lose his voice.
