"Back on My Feet Again" is a song by The Babys. It was released in 1979 as a single from their album '' Union Jacks''. The Babys
The Babys are a British Rock music, rock group best known for their songs "Isn't It Time (The Babys song), Isn't It Time" and "Every Time I Think of You". Both songs were composed by Jack Conrad and Raymond Louis Kennedy, Ray Kennedy, and each reached No. 13 on the U.S. ''Billboard (magazine), Billboard'' Billboard Hot 100, Hot 100 and No. 8 on the ''Cashbox (magazine), Cashbox'' chart in the late 1970s. "Back on My Feet Again" also reached the U.S. Top 40 in 1980. The Kent Music Report was a weekly record chart of Australian music singles and albums which was compiled by music historian David Kent from May 1974 through to January 1999. The chart was re-branded the Australian Music Report (AMR) in July 1987. From June 1988, the Australian Recording Industry Association, which had been using the top 50 portion of the report under licence since mid-1983, chose to produce their own listing as the ARIA Charts. Before the Kent Report, ''Go-Set'' magazine published weekly Top 40 Singles from 1966, and albums chart from 1970 until the magazine's demise in August 1974. Sweet (known as the Sweet until the early 1970s) are a British glam rock band who rose to prominence in the 1970s. Their best-known line-up consisted of lead vocalist Brian Connolly, bassist Steve Priest, guitarist Andy Scott and drummer Mick Tucker. The band formed in London in 1968, originally with the name the Sweetshop, and achieved their first hit, " Funny, Funny", in 1971, after teaming up with songwriters Nicky Chinn and Mike Chapman and record producer Phil Wainman. ''Union Jacks'' is the Babys' fourth album, which peaked at number 42 on the ''Billboard'' 200 in 1980. The lead single "True Love True Confession" failed to chart and was succeeded by the minor hit "Midnight Rendezvous," and finally the hit single "Back on My Feet Again", which was their last Top 40 hit, reaching #33. The band recorded a fifth album, '' On the Edge'', then split. ''Union Jacks'' was reissued on 26 May 2009 under Rock Candy Records after being out of print for many years.
