Recording House of Radio Ukraine () is a sound recording and concert complex of Radio Ukraine, which is a part of , the Ukrainian national broadcaster, located in Kyiv. The Large Concert Studio of the Recording House enables the recording of big orchestras and choirs, it is one of the largest sound recording studios in Europe. The Recording House serves as the rehearsal base and the main concert venue for the following ensembles of Radio Ukraine: * Ukrainian Radio Symphony Orchestra * Ukrainian Radio Choir Chapel * Ukrainian Radio Orchestra of folk and popular music * Big Children Choir of Ukrainian Radio * Ukrainian Radio Trio of Bandurists History of construction and specifications The design of the studio was developed in 1962, while construction lasted from 1967 to 1972. Sviatoslav Teofilovich Richter ( – August 1, 1997) was a Soviet and Russian classical pianist. Anatoliy Nestorovych Palamarenko (; born 12 July 1939) is a Ukrainian singer, actor and professor who is the Hero of Ukraine and Shevchenko National Prize laureate. Early life and education Born on 12 July 1939, in the Ukrainian town of Makariv. He first developed an interest in creative reading as a young boy after hearing Rostislav Ivitsky's radio talks. He was taught for the first time by Volodymyr Nelli. Between 10 July 1941 until 7 November 1943, when the Reichskommissariat Ukraine, Germans occupied Makariv, Anatoliy's father served as a Liaison officer, liaison between the Partisan (military), partisan unit and the local underground.
