Recording House Of Radio Ukraine
Recording House of Radio Ukraine () is a sound recording and concert complex of Radio Ukraine, which is a part of , the Ukrainian national broadcaster, located in Kyiv. The Large Concert Studio of the Recording House enables the recording of big orchestras and choirs, it is one of the largest sound recording studios in Europe. The Recording House serves as the rehearsal base and the main concert venue for the following ensembles of Radio Ukraine: * Ukrainian Radio Symphony Orchestra * Ukrainian Radio Choir Chapel * Ukrainian Radio Orchestra of folk and popular music * Big Children Choir of Ukrainian Radio * Ukrainian Radio Trio of Bandurists History of construction and specifications The design of the studio was developed in 1962, while construction lasted from 1967 to 1972. Sviatoslav Teofilovich Richter ( – August 1, 1997) was a Soviet and Russian classical pianist. Anatoliy Nestorovych Palamarenko (; born 12 July 1939) is a Ukrainian singer, actor and professor who is the Hero of Ukraine and Shevchenko National Prize laureate. Bohdan Mykhailovych Beniuk (; born 26 May 1957) is a Ukrainian film and theatre actor and politician who served as a People's Deputy of Ukraine from 2012 to 2014. People's Artist of Ukraine (1996). Liana Alexandres asuli Isakadze (2 August 19465 July 2024) was a Georgian violinist and conductor. A child prodigy, she was supported and trained by David Oistrakh. She won the 1970 International Jean Sibelius Violin Competition, which brought her international recognition.
