Real Xtreme Fighting
Real Xtreme Fighting (RXF) is a Romanian mixed martial arts (MMA) promoter (entertainment), promotion company based in Brașov, Romania. It is the largest MMA promotion company in Romania. Sebastian Vieru has been RXF president since 2012. The RXF produces events that showcase nine Weight class, weight divisions (seven men's divisions and two women's divisions). As of 2020, the RXF has held over 40 events. It has strategic partnerships with fellow Bahraini Brave Combat Federation, Brave CF and Italian Magnum FC MMA promotions. Its live events and competitions are broadcast on Telekom TV, Telekom Sport, Fight Network, DAZN and FightBox_(TV_channel), FightBox. Cătălin Oțelea, Stelian Gheorghe, Sebastian Hălmăgean, Scott Manhardt and Herb Dean are some of the best known referees working for the organization. Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a full-contact fighting combat sport, sport based on strike (attack), striking and grappling; incorporating techniques from various combat sports from around the world. In the early 20th century, various inter-stylistic contests took place throughout Japan and the countries of East Asia. At the same time, in Brazil there was a phenomenon called vale tudo, which became known for unrestricted fights between various styles such as judo, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, catch wrestling, luta livre, Muay Thai and capoeira.
