Psychic Warfare is the eleventh studio album by the band Clutch, It was released on October 2, 2015, through the band's own label Weathermaker Music. Album Info Psychic Warfare has been released on: CD, Black & White, Newbury Comics Exclusive 500 Autographed Copy Limited Edition, Transparent Red, & UK Blue Vinyl, "Mad Sidewinder b/w Outland Special Clearance," a Record Store Day 12" 5000 Copy Limited Edition Vinyl Record, as well as a Digital-Only Deluxe Edition with bonus tracks. Clutch is an American Rock music, rock band from Germantown, Maryland. Since its formation in 1991, the band lineup has included Tim Sult (lead guitar), Dan Maines (bass), Jean-Paul Gaster (drums), and Neil Fallon (vocals, rhythm guitar, keyboards). To date, Clutch has released thirteen studio albums, and several rarities and live albums. Since 2008, the band has been signed to their own record label, Weathermaker Music. Clutch is one of the pioneers of stoner rock. Jean-Paul Gaster (born June 19, 1971) is an American musician who is the drummer for the rock band Clutch. Style and influences Gaster learned to play drums by playing along to 1960s and 1970s heavy rock bands like Jimi Hendrix, Cream, ZZ Top and Black Sabbath. Washington, D.C.'s Go-go music and in particular drummers such as Ju Ju House, Brandon Finley and Ricky Wellman were early influences as well. He is one of many students who studied with legendary Washington, D.C., drummer and educator Walter Salb. Some favorite drummers of Gaster are jazz drummers Elvin Jones and Jack DeJohnette, Bad Brains drummer Earl Hudson and New Orleans drummer Johnny Vidacovich. Richard Timothy Sult is an American musician best known as the guitarist for the rock band Clutch (band), Clutch. He is also the guitarist for an instrumental side project, The Bakerton Group, and an occasional member of the reggae rock / stoner rock band Lionize, as well as the band Deep Swell. With Clutch Sult has remained the guitarist for Clutch since the group started in 1991. Since then, the band has released 13 studio albums and toured extensively through North America, Europe, UK and Australia. The band continues to be an important fixture on today's hard rock scene, playing an average of 120 shows a year. Charles Louis Brown (August 22, 1936 – May 16, 2012) was an American guitarist, bandleader, and singer known as " The Godfather of Go-Go". Go-go is a subgenre of funk music developed around the Washington, D.C., area in the mid-1970s. While its musical classification, influences, and origins are debated, Brown is regarded as the fundamental force behind the creation of go-go music. Dan Winters (born October 21, 1962) is an American portrait photographer, illustrator, filmmaker and writer. Early life He was born in Ventura County, California on October 21, 1962. He first studied photography and the darkroom process starting in 1971 while a member of his local 4-H club. In 1979, while still a high school senior, he began working full-time in the motion picture special effects industry in the area of miniature construction and design. ''Blast Tyrant'' is the sixth full-length studio album by American rock band Clutch and was released March 23, 2004. The album was reissued on May 10, 2011. It was the first release with DRT Entertainment by the band. Album information The unabridged title of the album is ''Blast Tyrant Atlas of the Invisible World with Illustrations of Strange Beasts and Phantoms''. A reissue of the album was released through Clutch's own label, Weathermaker Music, and contains the original album along with a second bonus disc, entitled ''Basket of Eggs'', which is a collection of acoustic versions of songs, from 2001 to 2011 by the band, including the "Polar Bear Lair Demos". ''Pure Rock Fury'' is the fifth album by American rock band Clutch, released on March 13, 2001, and is their only album release with Atlantic Records. The album liner notes state that it is dedicated to Ronnie True. Album information This album features guest appearances by Scott "Wino" Weinrich (The Obsessed, Saint Vitus, Spirit Caravan), Leslie West (Mountain), and Dan and Joe of Sixty Watt Shaman, highlighting the band's habit of having musical contemporaries play on their albums. The album yielded a minor hit with "Careful with That Mic...", a rap rock parody, which ''CMJ'' complimented for its clever rhymes.
