Postcard Audio
Moments in Grace (formerly known as Postcard Audio) was an alternative rock/post-hardcore band from St. Augustine, Florida, active from December 2001 to March 2005. In its final days, the band relocated to Burbank, California and its line-up included principal songwriter, lead vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist Jeremy Griffith; bass guitarist, keyboardist and backing vocalist Jake Brown; drummer Timothy Kirkpatrick; and guitarist James Glayat. Earlier in its span, the band also included drummers Jason Frazier and Brandon Cook, guitarists Shane Gibson (musician), Shane Gibson and TJ Stein, and guitarist, keyboardist and backing vocalist Justin Etheridge. As Postcard Audio, the band released an eponymous EP in July 2002 through Brown's own record label, Computer Club Records. Alternative Rock
Alternative rock (also known as alternative music, alt-rock or simply alternative) is a category of rock music that evolved from the independent music underground of the 1970s. Alternative rock acts achieved mainstream success in the 1990s with the likes of the grunge subgenre in the United States, and the Britpop and shoegaze subgenres in the United Kingdom and Ireland. During this period, many record labels were looking for "alternatives", as many Arena rock, corporate rock, hard rock, and glam metal acts from the 1980s were beginning to grow stale throughout the music industry. The emergence of Generation X as a Culture, cultural force in the 1990s also contributed greatly to the rise of alternative music. These Days Will Fade
''These Days Will Fade'' is an extended play by American alternative rock / post-hardcore band Moments in Grace. It is the band's second release, following Postcard Audio's eponymous extended play released in 2002, but the first to be released after changing name to Moments in Grace. The extended play was first released as a free download by American record label Salad Days Records on December 12, 2003. It was later re-issued digitally and on compact disc by Atlantic Records and Salad Days Records on March 23, 2004. The release includes the song " Stratus", which was later pushed as a single to radio stations in June 2004, and its music video to music television channels in August 2004. Smile Empty Soul is an American Rock music, rock band, originally from Santa Clarita, California, Santa Clarita, California, United States. It was started in 1998 by Sean Danielsen (vocals and guitar), Ryan Martin (bass), and Derek Gledhill (drums). From First to Last is an American post-hardcore band formed in Tampa, Florida by Matt Good, Scott Oord, and Parker Nelms in November 1999. The current line-up consists of Matt Good (lead vocals and lead guitar), Travis Richter (rhythm guitar and unclean vocals), and Derek Bloom (drums). The band released their first EP ''Aesthetic'' in 2003, which they recorded with founding member and vocalist Phillip Reardon. Reardon left the band in 2004 due to personal and creative differences. Thrice is an American rock band from Irvine, California, formed in 1998. The group was founded by guitarist/vocalist Dustin Kensrue and lead guitarist Teppei Teranishi while they were in high school. Early in their career, the band was known for melodic hardcore punk music based in heavily distorted guitars, prominent lead guitar lines, and frequent changes in complex time signatures.
