Patrick Thoresen
Patrick Thoresen (born 7 November 1983) is a Norwegian professional ice hockey left winger for Djurgårdens IF of the HockeyAllsvenskan. He has a younger brother, Steffen who's also an ice hockey player. His father Petter was one of Norway's players who played at five Olympic Winter Games (1980–1994). Thoresen would follow in his father's footsteps and play in the Winter Olympics in Vancouver 2010 and Sochi 2014. Playing career Thoresen started his career with his hometown Storhamar Dragons before he shifted to Canada and played junior hockey for two teams in the QMJHL, the Moncton Wildcats and the Baie-Comeau Drakkar. In the 2002–03 season, while a member of the Drakkar, he had 108 points in 71 games played, good enough for second in team scoring. His 75 assists that season were best in the QMJHL. Oslo

Espen Knutsen
Espen Knutsen (born January 12, 1972) is a Norwegian former professional ice hockey player and currently the general manager of Vålerenga in the Norwegian GET-ligaen. He played five seasons in the North American-based National Hockey League (NHL), and is to date the only Norwegian to have played in the NHL All-Star Game. In his native Norway, Knutsen is also known by the nickname "Shampoo" because his father is a hairdresser, and also a former hockey player whose nickname was "The Soap" (Såpa in Norwegian). In 2021, he resigned from Vålerenga's board of directors. Anders Myrvold
Anders Myrvold (born 12 August 1975) is a Norwegian former professional ice hockey player, who last played for Norwegian GET-ligaen club Frisk Tigers. He made his National Hockey League (NHL) debut for the Colorado Avalanche on 6 October 1995, and has been part of the Norwegian national team. In the NHL, Myrvold played for Colorado (he was drafted by the team's predecessor, the Quebec Nordiques), Boston Bruins, New York Islanders, and Detroit Red Wings. He played four games in the 1995–96 Colorado Avalanche season when they became Stanley Cup Champions. Myrvold did not play enough games to have his name engraved on the Stanley Cup. Bjørn Skaare
Bjørn Skaare (29 October 1958 – 21 June 1989) was a Norwegian ice hockey player. He was the first Norwegian to play in the NHL, playing a single game with the Detroit Red Wings during the 1978–79 NHL season. Playing career Skaare's talent was evident at an early age. He made his debut for Furuset before he had turned 16. In 1976, he was signed by Färjestad of the Swedish Elitserien, although he returned to Furuset within a year. In the fall of 1977, Skaare moved to Canada, where he was signed by the Ottawa 67's of the Ontario Hockey League, where he became a teammate of future NHL star Bobby Smith. Skaare scored 12 goals and had 30 assists for Ottawa, and was drafted in the 4th round (62nd pick overall) of the 1978 NHL Entry Draft by the Detroit Red Wings. The 2006–07 NHL season was the 90th season of operation (89th season of play) of the National Hockey League (NHL). Craig MacTavish
Craig MacTavish (born August 15, 1958) is a Canadian professional ice hockey executive and former player, formerly an assistant coach with the St. Louis Blues. He played center for 17 seasons in the National Hockey League with the Boston Bruins, Edmonton Oilers, New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers and St. Louis Blues, winning the Stanley Cup four times (1987, 1988, 1990, 1994). He was the last NHL player not to wear a helmet during games., although Mark Messier would be the last player who was not required to wear a helmet. MacTavish later coached the Oilers from 2000 to 2009 and also served as assistant coach with the Rangers and Oilers. The Baie-Comeau Drakkar is a Canadian junior ice hockey team in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League that plays at Centre Henry-Leonard in Baie-Comeau, Quebec. The name "Drakkar" refers to a type of longship. History The Drakkar first played in the QMJHL in 1997–98 season. One of the founders of the team was former Quebec Nordique co-founder Marius Fortier. Moncton Wildcats
The Moncton Wildcats are a Canadian junior ice hockey team in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) based in Moncton, New Brunswick. The franchise was granted for the 1995–96 QMJHL season, 1995–96 season known as the Moncton Alpines, then rebranded as the Wildcats in the next season.
