Patrick Spaziante
Patrick Spaziante, or "Spaz" as he is commonly known, is an American comic book artist known for his work for Archie Comics, in particular his interior pencil and cover work for ''Sonic the Hedgehog'', ''Sonic X'' and '' Sonic Universe''. He is also known for his work on Dreamwave Productions' ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'', Nickelodeon Comics' '' Avatar: The Last Airbender'' and Marvel Comics' '' Muties'', as well as his illustration work for Simon & Schuster's children books. Career Spaziante was a member of a group along with Ken Penders and Steven Butler known collectively as "Team Sonic" (not to be confused with "Sonic Team", the original creators of the SEGA franchise), because of their extensive work on the series. Comics Bulletin was a daily website covering the American comic-book industry. History Silver Bullet Comicbooks The site was founded in January 2000 as Silver Bullet Comicbooks by its New Zealand-based publisher/editor Jason Brice. During this period, the site made efforts to support retired comics professionals. In a Silver Bullet column called ''Past Masters'', contributor Clifford Meth wrote about his efforts to support ailing comic book artist Dave Cockrum. As a result of his advocacy, Marvel Comics announced it would compensate Cockrum for his work in co-creating the X-Men. Transformers (comics)
There have been three main publishers of the comic book series bearing the name ''Transformers'' based on the toy lines of the same name. The first series was produced by Marvel Comics from 1984 to 1991, which ran for 80 issues and produced four spin-off miniseries. This was followed by a second volume titled ''Transformers: Generation 2'', which ran for 12 issues starting in 1993. The second major series was produced by Dreamwave Productions from 2002 to 2004 with multiple limited series as well, and within multiple story continuities, until the company became bankrupt in 2005. The third and fourth series have been published by IDW Publishing with the third series starting with an issue #0 in October 2005 and a regular series starting in January 2006 to November 2018. Mega Man (Archie Comics)
''Mega Man'' is a comic series based on the video game series of the same name by Capcom produced by Archie Comics which was announced at New York Comic Con 2010. The series began publication in April 2011 with Ian Flynn, who has written many stories for Archie's ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' series, as its lead writer. The series has proved highly successful, and in 2013 a crossover took place between the ''Mega Man'' and ''Sonic'' series, under the title " Worlds Collide". The series does not follow the events of the games in exact order, including an adaptation of the Japanese exclusive game ''Super Adventure Rockman'' between those of ''Mega Man 2'' and ''Mega Man 3''. Sonic CD
is a 1993 platform game for the Sega CD developed and published by Sega. The story follows Sonic the Hedgehog as he attempts to save an extraterrestrial body, Little Planet, from Doctor Robotnik. Like other '' Sonic'' games, Sonic runs and jumps through several themed levels while collecting rings and defeating robots. ''Sonic CD'' is distinguished by its time travel feature, a key aspect to the story and gameplay. is a video game developer owned by the Japanese video game company Sega as part of its Sega CS Research and Development No. 2 division. Steven Butler
Steven Butler is an American comic book artist. He is known both for penciling the Archie Comics series ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' as well as creating new designs for Archie characters in 2007. Career Butler's work ranges from inking and providing occasional cover duties for ''Cat and Mouse'' to superhero illustrations in the original ''Silver Storm'' mini-series to publications such as Marvel Comics' ''Web of Spider-Man'' and ''Silver Sable''. The independent comic '' The Badger'' by First Comics served to launch his career, but his work at Silverline comics preceded Badger. Kenneth W. Penders, II is an American comic book creator and writer. In addition to his comic work, Penders has worked in television on storyboards, backgrounds and character design, and worked on screenplays for his own unpublished films. He is noted for his work on the Archie Comics series ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' and its spin-offs, which he worked on for over fifteen years, along with his subsequent lawsuits involving the works. Career Prior to working in the comics business, Penders's earliest jobs as a commercial artist included silk screening T-shirts at age 16, serving as a technical illustrator in the US Air Force, and working as a graphics illustrator at an unspecified Boston engineering firm.
