Paris Football Team
The Paris football team () is an association football scratch team mainly consisting of players from Paris, but also of players hailing from other regions and countries playing for Parisian clubs or in the Parisian League. This scratch team was initially selected by the Union des Sociétés Françaises de Sports Athlétiques (USFSA), then by the Ligue de Football Association (LFA), and finally by the French Football Federation (FFF). The Paris football team plays one-off games against clubs, regional teams, or collectives of other confederations, and as such, no governing body in the sport officially recognizes the team. History The USFSA era Even before football was recognized by the USFSA in January 1894, the Parisian clubs White Rovers and Standard AC, both of whom consisting mostly of English players, formed an agreement to face the English club Marylebone FC, which came to play in Paris during the Easter holidays of 1893; the English logically won 3–0. Exhibition Game
An exhibition game (also known as a friendly, scrimmage, demonstration, training match, pre-season game, warmup match, or preparation match, depending at least in part on the sport) is a sporting event whose prize money and impact on the player's or the team's rankings is either zero or otherwise greatly reduced. Exhibition games often serve as "warm-up matches", particularly in many team sports where these games help coaches and managers select and condition players, before the competitive matches of a league season or tournament. If the players usually play in different teams in other leagues, exhibition games offer an opportunity for the players to learn to work with each other. The games can be held between separate teams or between parts of the same team. An exhibition game may also be used to settle a challenge, to provide professional entertainment, to promote the sport, to commemorate an anniversary or a famous player, or to raise money for charities. Several sports le ...

French Interfederal Committee
The French Interfederal Committee (, CFI) is the direct ancestor of the French Football Federation (FFF), founded in 1919 by the transformation of the said committee. History The first governing body of football in France was the USFSA, which was the country's sports governing body, founded in November 1890. The USFSA only managed amateur sports, so not boxing or cycling, which had the ''Union Vélocipédique de France'' (UVF). However, some UVF clubs founded sports sections other than cycling, and as a result, they left this federation and founded the French Amateur Cycling Federation (FCAF) in 1905, which had a football department. As for the professionals, there was the Federation of Athletic Societies of France, which changed its name to ''Federation of Professional Athletic Societies of France'' (FSAPF) in 1906. Furthermore, a myriad of federations appeared in regions that did not want to depend on Paris, which was so far away, such as FASO in the South-West. This disorder did ...

Paris Star
The Paris Star was a football team based in Paris that existed between 1894 and 1963. In 1917, the club played with a khaki jersey. History Early history Founded in 1894, Paris Star participated in the USFSA Football Championship between 1895 and 1898, finishing in 5th place in the latter two. Despite these painful beginnings, President Manier's club remained in the first series of the USFSA Paris championship until 1910, the year in which Paris Star, along with CA Paris, US Suisse, and Red Star FC, decided to leave the USFSA following its refusal to join the French Interfederal Committee (CFI), which had represented France at FIFA for three years, and the four dissent clubs then founded the Ligue de Football Association (LFA). In 1897, Mr. Manier, president of Paris Star, initiated the creation of the Coupe Manier, which required clubs to field only three foreigners back in a time when the majority of the Parisian clubs had ten, or even eleven foreigners, hence why the inaugu ...
