O-Train
The O-Train is a light rail system in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, operated by OC Transpo. The O-Train system consists of three lines, all of which are fully Grade separation, grade-separated. As of March 2025, one line is currently being extended and a new line will be added as part of the Stage 2 project, with new segments being phased in between 2025 and 2027. OC Transpo
OC Transpo is the primary Transit district, public transport agency for the city of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, operating bus rapid transit, light rail, conventional transit bus, bus routes, and door-to-door paratransit in the nation's capital region. Line 2 (O-Train)
Line 2 (), also known as the Trillium Line (), is a Hybrid rail, diesel light rail line in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Operated by OC Transpo, it runs north–south between Bayview station (Ottawa), Bayview and Limebank station, Limebank stations, using main line trains. The first line in the O-Train system, Line 2 opened on October 15, 2001. It operates on a dedicated right-of-way with a mix of single and Double-track railway, double-track sections. Although it serves as a public transit line, Line 2 is legally classified as a federally regulated mainline railway. Line 1 (O-Train)
Line 1 (), also known as the Confederation Line (), is a light rail line operated by OC Transpo in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, part of the city's O-Train system. It opened on September 14, 2019, and is O-Train's second line. It operates on an east–west route, with a segment under Queen Street in the downtown core, complementing the north–south Line 2 (O-Train), Line 2 that operates to the west of the downtown core. Despite using light rail rolling stock and technology (e.g. pantograph electrical pickup from Overhead line, overhead catenary rather than a third rail), Line 1 is completely grade separated. Ottawa Transitway
The Transitway is a bus rapid transit (BRT) network operated by OC Transpo in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It comprises a series of Bus lane, bus-only roadways and reserved lanes on city streets and highways. The dedicated busways ensure that buses and emergency vehicles on the Transitway rarely intersect directly with regular traffic, making it possible to run quickly and consistently, even during rush hour traffic. OC Transpo operates a network of rapid routes which use the Transitway to connect communities with the O-Train light rail system. Additional bus routes also use segments of the Transitway. The Transitway opened in 1983 with five stations. The network expanded greatly to include over fifty stations at its peak. Line 4 (), also known as the Airport Link (), is a diesel light rail line on the O-Train network in Ottawa, Ontario. The line provides a connection between Line 2 (also known as the Trillium Line) at South Keys station to Ottawa Macdonald–Cartier International Airport. The line opened on January 6, 2025. Baseline Station
Baseline station (Transitway (Ottawa), Transitway) or Algonquin station (O-Train) is a public transit station directly across from the main campus of Algonquin College in Ottawa's west end, near the intersection of Woodroffe Avenue and Baseline Road (Ottawa), Baseline Road. Several residential and business areas such as Centrepointe and College Square, Ottawa, College Square are also served by this station.
