Line 4 (O-Train)
Line 4 (), also known as the Airport Link (), is a diesel light rail line on the O-Train network in Ottawa, Ontario. The line provides a connection between Line 2 (also known as the Trillium Line) at South Keys station to Ottawa Macdonald–Cartier International Airport. The line opened on January 6, 2025. History Initial plans for expansions of the Trillium Line in 2013 considered an expansion to Ottawa Macdonald–Cartier International Airport. However, these plans were discarded due to lack of funding and a focus on attracting ridership from the south of Ottawa. In 2016, the Ontario provincial government committed $1 billion to O-Train expansion, providing half the required funding for an extension to the airport, with an additional station at the EY Centre. O-Train
The O-Train is a light rail system in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, operated by OC Transpo. The O-Train system consists of three lines, all of which are fully Grade separation, grade-separated. As of March 2025, one line is currently being extended and a new line will be added as part of the Stage 2 project, with new segments being phased in between 2025 and 2027. Line 2 (), also known as the Trillium Line (), is a Hybrid rail, diesel light rail line in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Operated by OC Transpo, it runs north–south between Bayview station (Ottawa), Bayview and Limebank station, Limebank stations, using main line trains. South Keys station is an O-Train station and the southernmost station of the Southeast Transitway (Ottawa), Transitway in Ottawa.
