Muna (band)
Muna (stylized as MUNA; ) is an American indie pop band consisting of Katie Gavin, Josette Maskin, and Naomi McPherson. They released two studio albums with RCA Records, ''About U'' (2017) and ''Saves the World'' (2019), before signing with independent label Saddest Factory Records, which released their third studio album, Muna (Muna album), ''Muna'', in June 2022. Career 2013–2019: Career beginnings, ''About U'' and ''Saves the World'' Based in Los Angeles, the trio met in college at the University of Southern California and began working together in 2013 with Maskin and McPherson playing together on guitars and Gavin adding synth bass and vocals. Muna Municipality
Muna Municipality (In the Yucatec Maya Language: “soft water") is a municipality in the Mexican state of Yucatán containing (270.81 km2) of land and is located roughly 50 km south of the city of Mérida. History There is no accurate data on when the town was founded, though it existed before the conquest, as part of the chieftainship of Tutul Xiu. At colonization, Muna became part of the encomienda system. The areas encompassing Muna and Dzán Municipality were joined for a time during the encomienda system. The first encomendero was Castilla in 1549 and it then passed to Alonso Rosado and Diego Rosado. By 1607 the encomendero was Pedro Rosado. In 1625, the trusteeship passed to Diego de Jáuregui and Francisca Rosado and in 1629 to Sebastián de Mendoza and Diego de Mendoza. Salomon Tandeng Muna (27 March 1912 – 22 January 2002) was a Cameroonian politician. He served as the third prime minister of the federated state of West Cameroon from 1968 to 1972. Additionally, he served as the second vice president of Cameroon from 1970 to 1972. He was the second president of the National Assembly of Cameroon from 1973 to 1988. Bernard Muna
Bernard Muna (27 May 1940 – 6 October 2019) was a Cameroonian lawyer, magistrate and politician. He served as Deputy Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda from 1997 to 2002.
