Mujuthaaz Mohamed
Mujuthaaz Mohamed (born 25 October 1992), known as Mujey is a Maldivian professional footballer who plays as a left back for New Radiant. Career Mujuthaaz started his career at Club Valencia before joining Club Eagles in 2015. Before moving to Maziya in 2018, Mujuthaaz was loaned out to Club Valencia with Ahmed Nashid and Sujan Perera for the 2017 Maldives FA Cup since Club Eagles failed to qualify for the 2017 Dhivehi Premier League, finishing 2017 Malé League at 5th on table. However, Club Valencia later withdrew their participation in the tournament. International Mujuthaaz's first international experience was the 2014 Asian games where the Maldives under-23 side were eliminated from the group stage. Thaa Atoll
Kolhumadulu Atoll (also known as Thaa Atoll) is an administrative division of the Maldives. It corresponds to the natural atoll of the same name. The ancient name of the island was Kolhumaduva during the time of King Koimala who united all atolls of the Maldives under one kingdom for the first time. Traditionally, Maldivians call this atoll simply Kolhumadulu, without adding the word ''atholhu'' at the end. Thaa is the code letters assigned to the atoll and is sometimes used by tourists to refer to the atoll itself. 2019–20 Dhivehi Premier League
The 2019–20 Dhivehi Premier League was the fifth season of the Dhivehi Premier League, the top-tier football league in the Maldives. The season started on 14 June 2019. TC Sports are the defending champions. Maziya secured the league title on 19 January 2020. Since New Radiant Sports Club and Victory Sports Club both teams are suspended, they are relegated to the Second Division Football Tournament. Teams A total of nine teams compete in the league. Dhivehi Premier League is a Maldivian men's professional football league. At the top of the Maldives football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Contested by 10 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Second Division Football Tournament. Teams are playing 14 matches each (playing each team in the league twice) totalling 56 matches in the season. The competition formed as the Dhivehi Premier League succeeded the Dhivehi League. The 2016 President's Cup is the 66th season of the President's Cup. Maziya Sports and Recreation Club are the defending champions, having beaten New Radiant Sports Club in last season's final. This is the second tournament under its current tournament format. President's Cup (Maldives)
President's Cup (known before 2005 as the National Championship) is said to be the first tournament in the Maldives and also the birth of Football in the Maldives. The very first tournament was held in 1946, with 2006 seeing its 50th edition. The first edition ended with Customs and Naadhee Ahthamadhun both sharing the trophy. SAFF Championship
The South Asian Football Federation Championship, commonly known as SAFF Championship (previously known as ''South Asian Association of Regional Co-operation Gold Cup'' and ''South Asian Football Federation Gold Cup''), is the main international association football competition of the men's national football teams governed by the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF). The second round of AFC matches for 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification (and 2019 AFC Asian Cup qualification) was played from 24 May 2015 to 29 March 2016.
