Moshe Haim Peretz (; born 10 May 1983) is an Israeli Mizrahi music pop singer-songwriter and composer. Beginning in 2013, Peretz acted as judge for The X Factor Israel. Early life Peretz was born and raised in Tiberias, Israel, to a Sephardic Jewish family. His father Miguel was of Moroccan-Jewish origin and his mother was of Iraqi-Jewish origin. Peretz started singing as a poet in a synagogue in Tiberias at the age of 13 and began to compose songs. At the age of 18 Peretz was enlisted as a soldier to the Israel Defense Forces. Moshe Mizrahi (; born April 8, 1980) is an Israeli basketball player. He plays small forward. Mizrahi was a member of the Israeli U-16, U-18, U-20, and U-21 National Teams, won the silver medal at the 2000 Under-20 FIBA European Championship, and played at the World Under-21 Championship. Moshe Menuhin
Moshe Menuhin (1893–1982) was an American Jewish writer and teacher of Hebrew. Biography Menuhin was born Moshe Mnuchin in Gomel to a distinguished, religious Lithuanian Jewish family. He was the great-great-grandson of Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi, the founder of Chabad Hassidism, as well as Rabbi Levi Yitzchok of Berditchev. When the family moved to the Yishuv, Moshe was sent to Orthodox Jewish schools, first to Yeshivas in Jerusalem, then to the Hebrew Gymnasia Herzlia in Jaffa - Tel Aviv. In 1913 he came to the United States to complete his higher education, attending New York University where he studied mathematics, political science and education. Moshe Meiselman () is an American-born Orthodox rabbi and rosh yeshiva (dean) of Yeshiva Toras Moshe in Jerusalem, which he established in 1982. Moshe Lobel is an American actor, filmmaker and musician. He is best known for starring in the Yiddish- Ukrainian drama '' Shttl'', which premiered at the London Film Festival and in competition at the Rome Film Festival. Moshe Lazar (Hebrew: משה לזר; July 4, 1928 – December 13, 2012), was a professor of comparative literature and drama at the University of Southern California (and the founder of the school's comparative literature department).
