Moshe Peretz
Moshe Haim Peretz (; born 10 May 1983) is an Israeli Mizrahi music pop singer-songwriter and composer. Beginning in 2013, Peretz acted as judge for The X Factor Israel. Early life Peretz was born and raised in Tiberias, Israel, to a Sephardic Jewish family. His father Miguel was of Moroccan-Jewish origin and his mother was of Iraqi-Jewish origin. Peretz started singing as a poet in a synagogue in Tiberias at the age of 13 and began to compose songs. At the age of 18 Peretz was enlisted as a soldier to the Israel Defense Forces. During his military service, he performed "", during Yom Hazikaron (Israel's Memorial Day) ceremonies held at his base that received positive feedback leading to him serving in a military music band. In 2002, he started writing songs while still serving in the army. Tiberias
Tiberias ( ; , ; ) is a city on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee in northern Israel. A major Jewish center during Late Antiquity, it has been considered since the 16th century one of Judaism's Four Holy Cities, along with Jerusalem, Hebron, and Safed. In , it had a population of . Matti Caspi () is an Israeli composer, musician, singer, arranger, and lyricist. Born in 1949, he is regarded as one of Israel's top popular musicians. His music's style is informed by classical music, Brazilian and Latin music, jazz, rock and other genres. Yehoram Gaon (; born December 28, 1939) is an Israeli singer, actor, director, comedian, producer, TV and radio host, and public figure. He has also written and edited books on Israeli culture. The son of Sephardic Jewish parents—a Bosnian father and Turkish mother, both immigrants to Israel—he became an early inspiration of "solidarity and pride" for the Sephardic community. Hebrew Language
Hebrew (; ''ʿÎbrit'') is a Northwest Semitic language within the Afroasiatic language family.
