Miss Earth Pakistan () is a national beauty pageant title presented to Pakistani delegates who participate in the Miss Earth competition. This title was initially acquired in 2005 by the president of Miss Pakistan World, Sonia Ahmed pageant was chosen to represent Pakistan at the Miss Earth 2005 pageant held in the Philippines. History In 2005, Pakistan made its debut at Miss Earth when Naomi Zaman, the winner of the Miss Pakistan World pageant held in Toronto, was designated by the president of Miss Pakistan World, Sonia Ahmed, to represent Pakistan in the Miss Earth pageant. Since that inaugural participation in Miss Earth 2005, the Miss Pakistan World organization has sent a total of 12 contestants to the Miss Earth pageant. There were some years when the organization couldn't send delegates due to scheduling conflicts, as the crowning ceremony of Miss Pakistan World coincided with the Miss Earth pageant. Miss Earth 2024 was the 24th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, held at the Okada Manila, in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines, on November 9, 2024. Drita Ziri of Albania crowned Jessica Lane of Australia as her successor at the end of the event, marking their first victory in the pageant. Beauty For A Cause
Beauty for a Cause is the slogan of the Miss Earth beauty pageant which highlights the work of the pageant and the slogan was adopted since the pageant's inception in 2001. The slogan empowers the contestants to work with an environmental advocacy that is personally significant to them. The phrase is also the name of an award also given by the pageant. The first Beauty for a Cause prize was awarded in 2003. Advocacy The connotation that all pageant contestants advocates world peace is a stereotype that is no longer true and having a platform is a part of the competition. Since many women around the world admire and aspire to be a beauty queen, Carousel Productions believed beauty queens would be an effective advocate of worthy causes. Miss Earth 2006
Miss Earth 2006 was the sixth edition of the Miss Earth pageant, held at the grounds of the National Museum of the Philippines in Manila, Philippines, on 26 November 2006. At the end of the event, Alexandra Braun of Venezuela crowned Hil Hernández of Chile as Miss Earth 2006. It is the first victory of Chile at the pageant. Miss Earth 2009
Miss Earth 2009, the 9th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, was held on November 22, 2009 at the Boracay Ecovillage Resort and Convention Center in Boracay, Malay, Aklan, Philippines. Karla Henry of Philippines crowned her successor Larissa Ramos of Brazil at the end of the event. The pageant had 80 delegates from various countries and territories that vied for the Miss Earth crown. Miss Earth 2011
Miss Earth 2011, the 11th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, was held on December 3, 2011 at the University of the Philippines Theater, inside the campus of the University of the Philippines Diliman in Quezon City, Philippines. Nicole Faria of India crowned her successor Olga Álava of Ecuador at the end of the event. The show was aired live by Channel V at 8:00 pm, while Star World broadcast on Sunday, 4 December at 6:00 pm, ABS-CBN and Studio 23 broadcast on the same day at 10:30 pm. There was also a delayed telecast of the show on The Filipino Channel and on the television stations of other participating countries.
