Miss Earth 2006
Miss Earth 2006 was the sixth edition of the Miss Earth pageant, held at the grounds of the National Museum of the Philippines in Manila, Philippines, on 26 November 2006. At the end of the event, Alexandra Braun of Venezuela crowned Hil Hernández of Chile as Miss Earth 2006. It is the first victory of Chile at the pageant. Contestants from 82 countries and territories competed in this year's pageant, an increase from the 80 contestants in 2005. The pageant was hosted by Ariel Ureta, Miss Earth 2004 Priscilla Meirelles, and Miss Philippines-Air 2006 Ginger Conejero. Filipino singer and actor Christian Bautista performed at the pageant. Hil Yesenia Hernández Escobar (born 1 December 1984) is a Chilean people, Chilean journalist, model, environmentalist and beauty queen who won Miss Earth 2006 pageant becoming the first Chilean people, Chilean to win the coveted crown. Personal life Hernández was born in Castro, Chile on 1 December 1984. She spent her childhood years in the Chiloé Island, the second-largest island in South America. The youngest of three children, her father died when she was young. She was raised by her mother, Yorki Escobar. Hernández studied tourism and took up modelling, then advanced her studies in Journalism. She once spent a month working as a model in Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. Miss Earth 2004 was the fourth edition of the Miss Earth pageant, held at the University of the Philippines Theater in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines, on October 24, 2004. Dania Prince of Honduras crowned Priscilla Meirelles of Brazil as her successor at the end of the event, and with her win, Brazil became the first country to win all of the Big Four beauty pageants. Lifestyle was a British daytime television channel aimed at women and families. It was broadcast on cable and from February 1989 on transponder 5 of the Astra satellite. The channel's logo originally consisted of 3D computer graphics forming a face before when it was relaunched in November 1987, which changes to an animated pastel butterfly and includes the signature flute tune within typifying its gentle pace and reflective colourful style. Francys Sudnicka
Francys Sudnicka (born 9 December 1979 in Valencia, Venezuela) is a Polish-Venezuelan model and beauty pageant titleholder. She was born in the city of Valencia, Venezuela and lived in Poland until her adolescence. She then moved back to Venezuela to pursue pageantry, before returning for good to Poland. Miss USA 2006
Miss USA 2006 was the 55th Miss USA pageant, held at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland on April 21, 2006. Fifty-one state titleholders competed for the title, which was won by Tara Conner of Miss Kentucky USA, Kentucky. Conner was crowned by outgoing titleholder Chelsea Cooley of Miss North Carolina USA, North Carolina. This was the second consecutive year that the pageant was held in Baltimore, although the venue changed from the Hippodrome Theater to the larger 1st Mariner Arena. Delegates arrived in the city on 2 April 2006, and were involved in three weeks of events, appearances and preliminary competitions before the final competition. ''Deal or No Deal'' is an American version of the international game show of Dutch origin of the same name. The show is hosted by Howie Mandel, and premiered on December 19, 2005, on NBC. The hour-long show typically aired at least twice a week during its run, and included special extended or theme episodes.
