Michael Goldstone
Michael Goldstone is an American music industry executive and owner of Mom + Pop Music. Goldstone began his career at Chrysalis Records in Los Angeles doing Public Relations, working with Blondie, Pat Benatar, Huey Lewis and others before moving on to MCA Records, where he worked in marketing and artist development before moving into A&R. Segueing to PolyGram, he signed Mother Love Bone and, after the death of lead singer Andrew Wood, signed the remaining members to Epic Records. This band became Pearl Jam. Also while at Epic, “Goldie” signed Rage Against the Machine and many others such as BRAD and Shudder to Think, who previously released their music on Discord. He was also responsible for the release of the Soundtrack to the movie Singles, directed by Cameron Crowe. In 1996, he joined DreamWorks Records as a partner, where he was instrumental in building the company's A&R, marketing and promotion departments. Mom + Pop Music is a New York City–based independent record label. Founded by Michael Goldstone in 2008, its roster includes Alicia Keys, Courtney Barnett, Magdalena Bay, Madeon, Tom Morello, Porter Robinson, Maya Hawke, Tycho, Tash Sultana, Sunflower Bean, Beach Bunny, Caamp, and Del Water Gap. Seymour Stein
Seymour Steinbigle (April 18, 1942 – April 2, 2023), known professionally as Seymour Stein, was an American entrepreneur and music executive. He co-founded Sire Records and was vice president of Warner Bros. Records. With Sire, Stein signed bands that became central to the new wave era of the 1970s and 1980s, including Talking Heads and The Pretenders; he signed Madonna as well. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005. Career Stein was born in Brooklyn, New York City. Tokyo Police Club was an indie rock band from Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 2005, it consisted of vocalist and bassist Dave Monks, keyboardist Graham Wright, guitarist Josh Hook, and drummer Greg Alsop. The band found early success with their 2006 debut EP '' A Lesson in Crime,'' which they followed with several popular releases including the albums ''Elephant Shell'' and '' Champ'' in 2008 and 2010, respectively. Andrew Wegman Bird (born July 11, 1973) is an American indie rock multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter. Clifford "Cliff" Burnstein (born July 1948) is an American music manager and entrepreneur. He is the co-founder of Q Prime, a New York-based music management company known for representing prominent rock acts, including Metallica. Burnstein began his career at Mercury Records, where he signed Rush to their first American record deal.
