Mary Stoiana
Mary Stoiana (born May 6, 2003) is an American tennis player. She plays college tennis for the Texas A&M Aggies and has been ranked as high as in NCAA Division I singles and doubles. She has won one doubles title on the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour. Early life and junior career Stoiana was born in Southbury, Connecticut. She began playing tennis at age four, learning from her father as he taught her older brother. She competed in United States Tennis Association (USTA) Junior Sections from age nine, and played on the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Junior Circuit from 2018 to 2021, winning three singles titles and one doubles title. She attracted notice from Texas A&M coaches with her seventh-place finish at the USTA Girls' 18 National Clay Court Championships in July 2019. KAGS-LD (channel 23) is a low-power television station licensed to Bryan, Texas, United States, serving the Brazos Valley as an affiliate of NBC. The station is owned by Tegna Inc., and maintains studios on South Texas Avenue in Bryan and a transmitter on North Harvey Mitchell Parkway west of the city. The 2023 NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championships were the women's tennis tournaments played from May 5 to May 20, 2023, at campus sites and Orlando, Florida, at the USTA National Campus. It was the 41st edition of the NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championship. Women's team championship There were 64 teams selected to the women's team championship, 31 of which were automatic qualifiers from each Division I conference. The remaining 33 teams were selected at-large.
