Šempeter pri Gorici (, also generally known simply as ''Šempeter''; ) is a town and the administrative seat of the Municipality of Šempeter-Vrtojba in the Slovene Littoral region of Slovenia. BT-Füchse Handballclub Bruck-Trofaiach normally just called BT-Füchse is an Austrian handball club from Bruck an der Mur and Trofaiach, Austria. History The club was founded in 2020 as a fusion between HC Bruck and ATV Trofaiach. The goal was to create a place for talent development in Obersteiermark. The 2019 IHF World Women's Handball Championship, the 24th event hosted by the International Handball Federation, was held in Japan from 30 November to 15 December 2019. The Netherlands won their first title after defeating Spain in the final. The final was decided on a controversial penalty decision, when Ainhoa Hernandez blocked the Dutch goalkeeper's pass stopping a potential counter with seconds to go. Venues Kumamoto region was entrusted with the organization of the World Championship.
