A woman is an adult female human. Before adulthood, a female child or adolescent is referred to as a girl. Handball (also known as team handball, European handball, Olympic handball or indoor handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the opposing team. Balonmano Remudas, a.k.a. Rocasa Gran Canaria ACE for sponsorship reasons, is a Spanish professional women's team handball, handball club from Telde in the island of Gran Canaria, Canary Islands. Founded in 1978, ten years later it was promoted to the División de Honor Femenina de Balonmano, División de Honor, where it has played since. Its best result is the first place in 2019. Zağnos SK () is the women's handball team of the same named club in Trabzon, Turkey. Club colors are red, blue and white. Competitions The women's handball branch was founded when the club Trabzon Hentbol Akademi SK, which played in the Turkish Women's Handball First League, was purchased and renamed Zağnos SK. The team finished the 2013–14 season as runner-up, failed to advance to the Super League after ranking the third place in the play-offs. However, they were promoted as placeholder for a team, which missed to apply on time. Thus, they played in the 2014–15 season for the first time in the Turkey Women's Super League. The team won the play-outs ranking first in the group, and qualified to remain in the league.
