Lukas Bengtsson
Lukas Bengtsson (born 14 April 1994) is a Swedish professional ice hockey defenseman. He is currently playing with EV Zug in the National League (NL). Playing career At the youth level, Bengtsson played for Huddinge IK, Djurgårdens IF, and Mora IK. He logged his first minutes in Sweden’s second-tier league HockeyAllsvenskan with Mora’s men’s team during the 2011–12 season. In February 2015, he signed with Frölunda HC of Sweden’s top-flight SHL. He made 42 appearances, recording nine goals as well as 12 assists, as Frölunda won the 2016 SHL title. Bengtsson was also influential in the team's success in the Champions Hockey League: He saw the ice in ten contests, scoring two goals and assisting on five more, helping Frölunda capture the CHL title. On 27 April 2016, he penned a two-year, entry-level contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL). Mora IK
Mora IK (or Mora Ishockeyklubb) is a Swedish professional ice hockey club from Mora in northern Dalarna. After failing the 2019 SHL qualifiers, Mora has been relegated for play in the second-tier league, HockeyAllsvenskan. Mora has previously played 25 seasons in the top tier, including four seasons in Elitserien (as the SHL was called at the time). The team has reached the finals of the Swedish Championships only once, in 1950, a match which they lost 7–2 to Djurgårdens IF. Mora has played in the top two tiers of Swedish hockey since the 1944–45 season. History Mora IK was founded in 1935. Champions Hockey League
The Champions Hockey League is a European first-level ice hockey tournament. Launched in the 2014–15 season by 26 clubs, 6 leagues and the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), the tournament features top teams across Europe. Background The IIHF launched a tournament with the same name in 2008 to coincide with the IIHF's 100th anniversary. The tournament's only season was played between 8 October 2008 and 28 January 2009, and was won by the ZSC Lions who got to play in the 2009 Victoria Cup game as a result. The IIHF planned to launch another season but was ultimately forced to cancel the tournament due to problems finding sponsors during the concurrent global economic crisis and failure to agree on a tournament format. Le Mat Trophy
The Le Mat Trophy (, ) is the trophy awarded to Swedish champions in ice hockey. The trophy has been awarded since the 1926 season and starting with the 1975–76 season – it has been awarded to the winners of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) playoffs. Stepan Falkovsky (; born 18 December 1996) is a Belarusian professional ice hockey defenceman playing for Ak Bars Kazan of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He was selected by the Calgary Flames in the seventh round (186th overall) at the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Falkovsky played in his native Belarus, as a youth with Yunost Minsk. He made his professional debut as a 16-year-old in the Vysshaya Liga in 2013. 2017–18 AHL Season
The 2017–18 AHL season was the 82nd season of the American Hockey League. The regular season ran from October 6, 2017, to April 15, 2018.
