Krzysztof Szubarga
Krzysztof Szubarga (born 5 July 1984) is a Polish professional basketball coach and former player. Standing at tall, he mainly plays at the point guard position. He is current working as Coach (basketball), assistant coach for Arka Gdynia (basketball), Arka Gdynia. Professional career Szubarga has the majority of his career in the Dominet Bank Ekstraliga, Polish Basketball League. He broke into the league as a 17-year-old and saw action off the bench in the 2001–02 with Noteć Inowrocław, Inowrocław KS Noteć. Since that time, he has played for several teams and helped Polpak Świecie to a third-place league finish in 2005–06. He played his most recent season, 2008–09, for Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski and averaged a career high 12.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game. Basketball coaching is the act of directing and strategizing the behavior of a basketball team or individual basketball player. Basketball coaching typically encompasses the improvement of individual and team offensive and defensive skills, as well as overall physical conditioning. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. They effectively "run" the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Astoria Bydgoszcz, also known as simply Astoria, is a Polish multi-sports club most known for the professional men's basketball team, based in Bydgoszcz. Currently playing in the I Liga and in the past in the FIBA Korać Cup.
